As bad as the foregoing
are, his speech on Iraq and the troops he delivered on January 27, 2005,
is the worst of the three. Why you ask? The car in the water only caused
the death of one human, Mary Joe Kopechne, which was tragic enough. The
attack on an honorable woman didn’t cause any deaths, but it did show
the utmost disrespect for a woman who has given her life to make the
United States a better place for all of us, which can’t be said for Ted
Kennedy. The speech by Kennedy did nothing but give aid to the enemy.
The sorry excuse for a human said, “We have reached the point that a
prolonged American military presence in Iraq is no longer productive for
either Iraq or the United States. The US military presence has become
part of the problem, not part of the solution.” Treasonous? You
decide since I already have. Since when has our military been part of
any problem anywhere at anytime? Our military has acted nobly in every
action in which it has ever been engaged. And for Kennedy to blame our
troops for the behavior of the thugs and criminals in Iraq, whose only
aim is to disrupt so they can continue to rape and pillage, is beyond
total reason. Mr. Kennedy, to be very blunt, you and your ilk are the
problem in this nation, having caused by your leftist ideology most of
the problems we face.
