A DISREPUTABLE HUMAN

The world has been populated with a lot of disreputable people from all walks of life and the United States unfortunately has had its share of them. Now there is one person that’s in the United States Senate who has proven himself to be the disreputable of the disreputable. That person is Ted Kennedy, not deserving of being called a Senator or numbered amongst those who do try to do the right thing.

Ted Kennedy is disreputable for any number of reasons. He earns that badge of dishonor by allowing a young woman to die in the back seat of his car that sank in the water after he drove off a bridge. He claims he tried to save her but if he did, why did he wait so long to report what happened?  For that act alone he deserves to be numbered among the disreputable.

Then his uncalled for tirade against Condoleezza Rice that was so out of bounds that the decent persons should have risen and walked out, but unfortunately the Senate rules of decorum would have been violated. Only a reprobate would do as Ted Kennedy did in his attempted character assassination of the lady.

As bad as the foregoing are, his speech on Iraq and the troops he delivered on January 27, 2005, is the worst of the three. Why you ask? The car in the water only caused the death of one human, Mary Joe Kopechne, which was tragic enough. The attack on an honorable woman didn’t cause any deaths, but it did show the utmost disrespect for a woman who has given her life to make the United States a better place for all of us, which can’t be said for Ted Kennedy. The speech by Kennedy did nothing but give aid to the enemy. The sorry excuse for a human said, “We have reached the point that a prolonged American military presence in Iraq is no longer productive for either Iraq or the United States. The US military presence has become part of the problem, not part of the solution.”  Treasonous?  You decide since I already have. Since when has our military been part of any problem anywhere at anytime?  Our military has acted nobly in every action in which it has ever been engaged.  And for Kennedy to blame our troops for the behavior of the thugs and criminals in Iraq, whose only aim is to disrupt so they can continue to rape and pillage, is beyond total reason. Mr. Kennedy, to be very blunt, you and your ilk are the problem in this nation, having caused by your leftist ideology most of the problems we face.

It would be good if Kennedy read the following verse: Luke 6:45 “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” The evil in Ted Kennedy’s heart caused the death of Mary Joe Kopechne. His evil heart attempted to malign and impugn the integrity of Condoleezza Rice, one of the most noble women of our time. The smear against our troops came from a mind that is screwed up from either too much of the other kind of spirits or from following a leftist ideology or both, which is the total opposite of our republic and the form of government given by the founders.

The truth of all these sorry spectacles that Ted Kennedy loves so much is that he is devoid of any feeling for others and as the Bible says his conscience is seared over. 1 Tim 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; … The verse applies to the doctrinal teachings of the church but the principle applies. Kennedy speaks lies and  tells others how to live, and then acts like the heathen of old.

Ted Kennedy is a disreputable human and his actions prove it. But on second thought maybe disreputable doesn’t apply. Despicable seems to fit him and his ways much better.
