All acts have consequences, some of which can be known, good and bad, right or wrong. Abortion was thought to be good with no unintended consequences ever considered. Yet, the unintended consequences are creating all kinds of problems for the nation. National morality is one of the victims of abortion since it has brought behavior that goes beyond the procedure of abortion. There is the morning after pill that is not only killing unborn babies, but those who take them. Many of the victims are young girls who have fallen for the line of unrestrained pleasure, which is confused with pursuit of happiness as the Declaration reveals. Tragically, Rose v Wade allows one to believe that they can pursue immoral pleasure, and when the consequences arrive the ruling says that it is okay to murder the unborn because the mother to be doesn’t want the child. No matter the excuses given for the abortion, it is wrong and with each abortion, one more nail is driven into the lid of the national coffin.

Presidential leadership is of paramount importance to the life of a nation. The election in the fall of November 2008 has determined the direction of the nation in many ways, but none more so than the direction the nation continues to take concerning abortion. Make that unrestrained abortion since Barack Obama and a sympathetic Congress have been installed into office. Obama said, "The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act," Obama said in his July [2007] speech to abortion advocates worried about the increase of pro-life legislation at the state level.  Are we about to get our own version of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe? He kills adults he doesn’t like, and our version of Mugabe will further the unrestrained slaughter of the unborn that people don’t want.

What is the FOCA? The 2007 version of FOCA proposed: "It is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose to bear a child, to terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal viability, or to terminate a pregnancy after fetal viability when necessary to protect the life or health of the woman. That which was decreed by the Supreme Court is going to be enshrined into federal law if Obama has his way. The 5^th Amendment says in part No person shall be … deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; … Courts have been loath to say that life begins at conception or that the newly formed cells create a distinct and separate person from the mother. To do so would give the unborn protection of the 5^th Amendment, not to mention honoring the intent of the founders when they used the word posterity in the Preamble.

Without an amendment, Obama wants to render the 5^th Amendment null and void; change the word posterity to a meaningless idea;  relegate the laws against abortion in the individual states to the dust bin of history, not to mention that the FOCA will make murder of the unborn a matter of national policy. Keep in mind that the man says he has given his life to Christ and that he is a Christian. The words of Jesus in Matthew 7:20 ring true in regard to Obama: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. His fruit is unrestrained abortion on demand. How can he say he loves God, follows Christ, call himself a Christian? How can anyone else who understands morality, vote for a man who is without a doubt an ungodly individual no matter what he says about following Christ?

But as will be seen, abortion just doesn’t kill the unborn, as it is fatal to the health and vitality of the nation, spiritually, morally, and physically. The despicable act extends far beyond the issue of unborn children.
