In the October 2, 2011 issue of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Mike Masterson’s column, Overreactions from 1958, contained an excerpt from W.Cleon Skousen’s book, The Naked Communist. Skousen spent 16 years with the FBI and was a professor at Brigham Young University. The column detailed what Skousen wrote in his book concerning Communism and its intent to change our republic into a totalitarian state.

The list of methods which are outlined in the book describe the means and methods the Communists will use to destroy our way of life.  Their plan was to denigrate all references to God, family and morality; plus take over schools, unions and infiltrate all levels of government in order to achieve their goal of destroying our constitutional republic.

Anyone who has a sound mind and is observant can surely see the destruction of our most valued ways and institutions. Subversion of government, immorality of all kinds, including the introduction of homosexual conduct to young children, are but a few of the methods the subversives are using. Anyone who counters those efforts are castigated, maligned and threatened with both physical and economic harm.

That brings us to the late Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin who labored to expose the Communist threat to the republic. He was met with resistance every step of the way, including his fellow senators (See http://www.knology.net/~bilrum/fulbrigt.htm for the anti-American ways of Democrat Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas) and others in government. At one point in a Senate hearing, an attorney Joseph Welch, said to McCarthy, "Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?" At this point McCarthy and his work were destroyed. While McCarthy did engage in some reckless conduct and make accusations for which he could not furnish definitive proof, time and the history of later unfolding events have revealed and proven that our government was loaded with subversion at all levels and it continues to this day.

Now, a most insidious movement is using the Communist’s tactic to belittle, malign, castigate, threaten and invade all levels of government to bring about further changes in our republic. Where as those who opposed McCarthy are best called useful idiots, if not outright sympathizers of the Communists as the record reveals on Senator Fulbright, the useful idiots and sympathizers are at it again. Only this time it is Islam and Muslims that are being given special consideration. Sharia law is looked at kindly and as a result, Muslims have gained prominence in various levels of the government. 

Senator John McCain said, "I would vote for a Muslim if he or she was the candidate best able to lead the country and to defend our political values." The definition of anyone who holds that view is useful idiot. Islam is a system of government masquerading as a religion and its means and methods are very similar to those used by the Communists outlined in Skousen’s book. They use lies, subversion, infiltration, castigation and other means to beat down their opponents. Sympathetic judges try to use Sharia law in their courts to adjudicate Muslim cases. Their reasoning is that Muslims hold to a different system of justice than do we under the Constitution so they should be judged by those beliefs.

Recall the words of Senator McCain. How could a Muslim uphold the best interests of our republic and defend our values when their ideology is directly opposite to what we believe and hold dear?

  Do you now see why the title of this article is A SECOND OFFENSIVE? In Food For Thought, just as the Communists used devious methods and had support from useful idiots, the adherents of Islam are doing the same thing to us, all the while knowing that the useful idiots like John McCain will help them to reach their goal of domination.

When religion, God, Jesus, and morals are mentioned, the typical liberal screams the separation of church and state is being violated. Not that such a dictum exists is beside the point with them, they want nothing to do with religion, that is God’s religion, commonly known as Christianity. And for good reason they protest; they have their own religion but won’t admit it and in the process, they violate the separation of church and state mantra, which they are so fond of bellowing at others. Their god is socialism and all that goes with it. They aren’t above mixing state and religion because the state is the foundation for their religion of government control for all things.

Hillary Clinton says her religion means a lot to her, whatever that means, unless it is understood that she is speaking of socialism. The type of religion that makes up her belief system is far different from that of God’s system of belief. Her belief is big government and the use of force to make people do as she wishes. Those who doubt the foregoing need to read what she has said and proposes doing based on the belief system (religion) that means so much to her.

In an article, CNSNEWS 2-04-2008, she described universal health care as "a core Democratic value and a moral principle, and I'm absolutely going to do everything I can to achieve that." A core value of the Democrats is the government taking care of all, which has become a moral imperative. Her statement that she will do everything to achieve should be taken as a warning that she will use the power of her god, the federal government, to bring national health care into existence, whether you need insurance or want it. She said, "[T] there are a number of ways" of getting people to enroll in her universal health care plan including going after people's wages, automatic enrollment. I think you can automatically enroll people, and you will then say you've got to be part of this." Can you spell tyranny?

For far too long, increasing numbers of people have been led to worship at the altar of the Democrat party, the all-powerful federal behemoth of government control. Instead of relying on work and the help of God, they grovel at the feet of people like Hillary Clinton, expecting that she and her minions will provide for them by forcing others to pay the cost of their existence. Instead of contributing to the nation, they dip into the basket to extract the wealth of others so they can continue their existence. Existence is the right word when one considers that being dependent on the government for ones livelihood isn’t living in liberty, but mere existence under the heavy tyrannical hand of the Hillary’s type of government.

She expressed one further part of her chilling agenda. [T] the "key point" is to implement universal health care. She said the mechanism by which it is achieved -- "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment...whatever the mechanism is, is not as important as...the fundamental commitment to universal health care..." She will shove freedom and liberty aside so that the government can institute her agenda, which is more important to her. Tyranny anyone?

 The woman is on record for saying that she won’t force onto any one what they can’t afford. The reverse is that the government will determine what you can afford and make you buy the insurance under threat of penalty. She also said that wage garnishment was an option if people resisted buying the insurance willingly. In the private world, such actions are called extortion and robbery. But in the socialist world, it is called forcing you to do what we know is best for you and that is acceptable and right.   

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that there are two sets of values and morals operating in this nation. One is the value and moral system of God on which this nation was conceived and built. The other is that of Hillary Clinton and the Democrat party which has substituted their own dubious values and morals or lack thereof for the standards on which the nation thrived for many years.

It should be evident that God’s way offers freedom and liberty, while the government offers nothing but tyranny, and in the end a dictatorship, wherein all behavior will be subject to the approval or non-approval. Is that what the people who follow her really want?  In the same regard, is it what the people who worship at the feet of the nut job really want?

A choice must be made about the values and morals. Which ones will it be; the ones espoused by Hillary and the Democrats or those on which this nation was founded? With Food For Thought, all who value real freedom and liberty will choose those from God. There is no in between.
