Every once in awhile a subject in the news appears just cries out for
commentary, so here it comes, ready or not. Al Gore is at it again with
more buffoonery, only this time there is hard evidence of the dunce’s
sins. News accounts report that Gore says that global warming is the
biggest crisis in human history. Mr. Gore, sin is the biggest crisis of
human history and you are evidence of it. The Bible says in Numbers
32:23 … be sure your sin will find you out and Gore’s sins have
been found out. Sins you say. How so? (See
Be Sure They Will
in Bible Section)

This reasoning is caused by Gore’s own words. We need to recall his
words at the Oscar presentations to establish his morality and the
denial of same and his consequent sin: "My fellow Americans, people
all over the world, we need to solve the climate crisis. … This is not
a political issue. It's a moral, ethical and spiritual issue.” We have
everything we need to get started, with the possible exception of the
will to act. That's a renewable resource. Let's renew it." He
continued: "Which means that environmentally intelligent practices
have been integrated fully into every aspect of the planning and
production of these Academy Awards. And you know what: It is not as hard
as you might think. We have a long way to go. But all of us can do
something in our own lives to make a difference."

Al Gore is like the Pharisees of old. Jesus described the Pharisees as
follows Matthew 23: 3-7: The scribes and
the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid
you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for
they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be
borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not
move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for
to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the
borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and
the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and
to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
In
another day and time Jesus could be very well addressing the self
acclaimed climate guru. Jesus had another name for such types. Jesus
said of them in Matthew 23: 27-28:
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear
beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all
uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but
within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

The word is hypocrite and means one who plays
a part. Mr. Gore is trying to play the part of an energy
conservationist while his house uses twenty times the amount of energy
as other houses. As with all sinners, he tries to excuse sin and his
excesses and hypocrisy by saying he purchases carbon credits from other
places to offset his usage. That is tantamount to a person on a diet
substituting a diet drink or drinking artificial sweetened coffee while
continuing to eat four chocolate covered doughnuts.

Since Al Gore framed the idea of global warming as a moral, ethical, and
spiritual issue, then there has to be a deity of some kind for all those
and sin to exist. It is submitted that Gore’s deity is the earth; his
message is global warming; and his offering is our freedom and liberty
which will vanish if we listen to the buffoon and his fellow buffoons
and their buffoonery.

Scripture from the pen of Paul says:
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, … (Romans
1:22). Then he said: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
for ever. Amen. (Romans 1:25) No matter which god Al Gore
follows, he is a sinner either against his god of Gaia or the God of the
heavens who allowed him to be born. His only escape will be repentance
to the God of heaven and if he doesn’t do so, he will remain in the
wilderness of sin.
|
|
But he can be comforted in the fact that he
will be right about the earth becoming too warm to sustain life. In 2
Peter 3:10 Peter wrote: But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth
also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Now
that is true global warming and at some point in time Al Gore’s
prediction will be correct. But I don’t think the warning of the earth’s
warming spoken by Peter is what Al Gore is expecting.
