This section contains answers to selected letters and Op-Ed columns written by liberals and others to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Voices page. The general themes of the letters and Op-Ed contain pleas: (1) for more government programs; (2) for the “rich” to pay more taxes; (3) to stop Christians from forcing their beliefs onto society; (4) to believe evolution; (5) for fair treatment of illegal aliens; (6) for homosexual equality and rights; and (7) for the adoption of children by cohabiting couples and homosexuals; (8) for the government to force benevolence since Jesus said to help the needy. As can be seen, the themes aren’t what made this country great. Since the writers to the Voices page are limited to one letter every thirty days, this section will provide views based on the Constitution and the Bible to counter the mostly non-factual and twisted thinking contained in the liberal’s letters and columns. At times, the editorialists and the other writers will be challenged. Some articles may contain more than one subject and refutation.
