Basically there are two types of people in the world; those with ability to think and those who have no idea what thinking means. Liberal Democrats for the most part, are in the latter category. It is as if they use a teleprompter when they write and speak, since what is written and heard from them follow an ideological line.

It doesn’t take much brain power to support abortion, gun control, government intrusion on liberty, high taxes and homosexuality to name a few of the favorite mind numbing ideas of the left. There are more, but those will suffice for the article.

Letters to the Voices column of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reveal the mind set of most liberals. They support unlimited gun control, abortion on demand, welfare programs, amnesty, homosexual marriage and the nut job. He supports all those too.

In a recent letter, the writer took to task the ideas of another contributor who did not know much about firearms, which was obvious from the content of the letter. The last line of the writer who challenged the previous writer is “(name) should stick with subjects that he understands.”  That is good advice for all and especially liberal/leftist types.

Gun control is one of the favorite subjects of the left. They parrot statistics of all kinds and claim that certain type guns are assault weapons. They do not think for themselves since the talking points generated by the ones higher up in the liberal chain of stupidity hand to them the ideology they speak. And it is nearly impossible for them to understand that they do not know much of anything about which they speak. They repeat the lines like Polly, but at least she knows that she wants a cracker.

Callers to the talk radio express unwavering support for the nut job. It makes no difference that what he says is filled with lies; makes no difference to them that he violates his oath of office repeatedly; that he is slowly destroying the fabric of the nation with his ungodly beliefs; they support him and vehemently say so to the extent of blaming the radio hosts for the nut job’s problems. At the least they aren’t blaming Bush though a few of the callers still repeat the “Bush is the fault” line.

Leftist letter writers and callers support homosexual sin and are proud of their support of it. According to them, it is those of us who know it is wrong who are wrong. We are bigots and worse in their eyes. The nut job called the ball player who came out of the closet. He said he couldn’t be prouder of him. Bill Clinton thinks it is wonderful that we are becoming a liberated society in which people can be true to themselves. Even worse, people who claim to believe in God think it is wonderful too.

Pro-death also enjoys gigantic support of the Democrats, leftist, and liberals (sorry for being redundant). The nut job asked God to bless Planned Parenthood. The media has all but ignored Kermit Gosnell, the man in Pennsylvania charged with killing babies. His attorney argued that the babies that moved after the botched abortion were just going through movement associated with the death throes. What kind of a brain does one have to have to not only support evil, but make such statements in an attempt to justify murder?

People who need over the counter cold remedies are required to ask for them because those who make illicit drugs buy them in quantities, but the FDA has ruled that the morning after pill can be sold over the counter to girls 15 years old and up. The buyer must prove their age at the cash register. The usual suspects, the Democrat left and reproductive rights groups believe the over the counter rule a good step in that it elevates the rights of women.. Of course they think so. Anything that is immoral is what they support. But they miss the point completely; unmarried teenage girls are not women and they should not be in the business of reproduction, period.

After due consideration, the title should be brain dead, but a brain locked on immorality is dead. Eventually, it will leave our republic dead if it isn’t stopped now. The nation is in its death throes thanks to the immoral leaders at all levels.
