In Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign speeches, the recurrent theme is change and hope. Many have said that he hasn’t exactly said what changes he is touting or what hope he is going to give. That isn’t true since listening to him leaves no doubt to the changes he is going to bring. In fact, his changes are very much in evidence at the present and they bode ill for the future of our republic, which is a nation now composed of people who have no idea about the meaning of the word.

Since 1932, the nation has been on a steady March to socialism. For those who don’t know the meaning (no doubt it is many of the same people who don’t know the meaning of republic) it is a system of government that manages the means and distribution rather than individuals. Simply put, property owners and earners are forced to give their means to the government (politicians and bureaucracy) so that the largesse can be distributed to the government designated poor under the guise of compassion. The nation has been undergoing that type of change for 75 years and with Obama, it is going to escalate, given that he wants to raise taxes to spend more in various ways, through all kinds of proposed programs, in addition to the existing ones, to help more people become more dependent on government using the taxes on others to provide the help.

First, it was Massachusetts through a court decree that allows homosexual marriage, aided and abetted by then Governor Mitt Romney who didn’t have enough sense to tell them to take a hike, which he could have done legally. Now it is California, through its Supreme Court, that has overturned the will of the people who don’t want homosexual marriage or at the least, they didn’t want it prior to the ruling. Colorado has now joined the homosexual rights movement. The law that state now has makes it a crime to speak, write or publish material that says homosexual behavior is sinful. Churches are exempted for now. Put the emphasis on the words for now. Obama’s change includes making homosexual marriage legal nationwide. Since it is occurring, he has an excuse not to challenge it.

One of the big issues at the moment is the price of gasoline and with the majority liberal Democrats refusing to do anything but run their mouths against domestic production to further their controlling agenda and to appease the environmentalists, nothing is being done to alleviate the strained supplies of crude in this nation. The change that is taking place is an ever growing dependence on foreign oil, not to mention that Congress wants to take control of the oil industry. True change would  bring forth domestic production, but all we get from Obama and Congress is hot air advocating more unconstitutional interference with business.

Another nail in our coffin is the ruling by the Supreme Court that foreigners who are the enemy have rights under our Constitution. Never mind that it only applies to citizens of this nation. According to the brilliant fool, Justice Anthony Kennedy, his ruling upholds the Constitution and the rights it gives to all. He is ignorant of the Constitution. The Constitution doesn’t give rights, it protects God given rights of citizens from intrusion by the government. Kennedy and his fellow ilk wrote, "To hold that the political branches (Congress and the executive branch) may switch the Constitution on or off at will would lead to a regime in which they, not this Court, say 'what the law is,'"  Don’t tell them that the legislative branch makes the laws and can control what cases the court hears. It might confuse them even more than what they are now.

Obama supports the ruling and is on record for saying that he will appoint judges that will have empathy and understanding for the downtrodden. It fits well with the idea that Kennedy has and the one that the thankfully departed Justice O’Conner holds that we should look to foreign law and courts to help with decisions in this nation. It is obvious that change is taking place in the realm called jurisprudence, and with it already taking place, that shortens Obama’s list for the changes he wants to make since it fits his global wide views. There’s nothing like the fools having the work finished for him when he sits down in the Oval Office.  

The man Obama knows full well that change is taking place and no one is stopping it. It goes without saying that he agrees with all that is being done. The changes occurring now are only a forerunner of what changes he will bring to us and you had better believe none of them will be good for the advancement of freedom and liberty. In Sorting It Out, the word change does give phony hope to the dupes and idiots, even though everyone is being led over the edge of the cliff.
