Hank Williams, Jr. compared the man in the White House to Hitler and it didn’t meet with approval from many quarters which was to be expected from the media and liberals. Some conservatives jumped in as well. Yet, the left demonized President George W. Bush with vile names before the election was ever held. They continued right up to and past the day he left the office. They have at various times called Thomas Jefferson names and made false charges against him; uttered hate against Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush and the media uttered not a word of dissent. In fact, the media all too eagerly broadcast the left’s name calling and the lies the lefties told.

To put it all in perspective, a few facts of history need examining. Germany was in dire trouble at the end of World W I and needed help. The national psyche was at an all time low and they needed and wanted a savior. One came along out of nowhere; Adolph Hitler, an Austrian, demonized his opponents and promised them the moon, so to speak, after illegally claiming the chancellorship. He promised hope and change (sound familiar?) which the German’s bought into hook line and sinker and became their dictator who was virtually unchallenged. The Reichstag delivered to him every wish and whim. He developed a spy network composed of citizens to spy on their fellow county men. He banned firearms and the people all too willingly allowed the confiscation. His efforts to reform the German society culminated in the extermination of over 6 million plus people with most of them Jews. However, even those who looked like Jews or had Jewish sounding names were taken to the death camps. News was controlled in the 3rd Reich. Anything not complementary to the regime was allowed.

Let’s roll forward to the year 2008 and beyond. A man who very few knew existed, except in Illinois political circles, rose up from literally nowhere, an unknown as far as national recognition is concerned. He was not properly vetted by the Democrat Party and any an all attempts to expose his background has met with stony silence; various courts have either dismissed the filed suits or ruled in the White House man’s favor when hearings were held. The man promised hope and change and the people bought into hook line and sinker. He made George W. Bush and others into demons which helped him win the election. Since then, anyone who opposes him is demonized by him and by his supporters; their favorite word for the opponents is racist.

While the man in the White House doesn’t have Hitler styled death camps, he does support a different type of death camp called abortion factories. The factories manufacture dead babies by killing them before they are born and he has done everything he can do to keep the death factories in the business of manufacturing dead babies. He even voted against a bill while in Illinois that would have given medical treatment for any baby that survived an abortion. He voted to let them die. From 2009 to 2011, 1,212,400 babies have been killed on his watch. Not only is he the food stamp champion, (46.7 million-Source Department of Agriculture) he is also the abortion guru of record. He is forcing those opposed to abortion to pay for it through medical insurance in what is called Obamacare. Actually, he doesn’t care at all and the program should be called Obamadoesn’tCare.

Gun control is one of his agendas and he and his followers continue to demonize the NRA, other gun organizations and gun owners; they take every opportunity to convince the people that the Second Amendment doesn’t say or mean what it plainly says. Disarm the people and there can be no resistance to any dictates and take over. Take over? Is it possible? The White House man does as he pleases and does the take over by issuing executive orders and is on record for saying  “… we can’t wait for an increasingly dysfunctional Congress to do its job. Where they won’t act, I will.”  You make the call.

A vast harassment and spy network is being installed in our republic. Home Land Security, head, Janet Napolitano has given the TSA unlimited power to harass citizens in and out of airports having sent the TSA goons to sporting events, train and bus terminals. The TSA has participated in driver checks on highways in several states. She has told people if they see anything suspicious to report it. All of it is with the blessing of the man in the White House.

The FBI is implementing a system that will record the data of each and every person in the United States. It’s called face recognition with the official name of Next Generation Identification. George Orwell was 28 years too soon with his book 1984,  but he was right in most respects about government control.

Journalists must submit their work to the White House censor-in-chief before the stories can be published or aired. They must meet with the approval of the man in the White House or else they lose their privilege to cover the administration and the associated lackeys. Access to stories is more important than truth, ethics and honesty. The words that apply are managed news and propaganda employing disinformation as well as misinformation. What is disinformation? It is the tactic of giving an aura of truth to that which is false by using the media to launder the news and make it appear that the media is responsible for the story rather than the government’s cadre of liars and spinners from whom it originated.      

While Hank Williams, Jr. was castigated for his comparison, the man in the White House can say and do as he pleases with nearly 100% impunity. The people of the republic have never had a so called leader that acts as he does and are loathe to speak the obvious since respect for the man in the office and the office itself are two of the hallmarks of the republic; that they have elected a man who is exactly opposite of the design of the republic. It is not politically correct to speak the truth so all of those who speak out are excoriated into silence or badgered until they apologize.

What comparisons don’t inflame? It is the comparison to vile people that the man in the White House makes toward his opponents; it is the comparison of opponents to those of less than savory character such as Hitler and Eva Braun made by his followers at the Democrat Convention. The attendees cheered. But none of that inflames the public to any degree and certainly not his media supporters who ignore it. The lesson is, “Do not cast aspersions on the high and mighty noble god of the left or you will be accused of despicable things.”

Was Hank Jr. correct? You, the reader must decide, but one fact should be remembered; history does repeat itself, but in this case the history of one era is replicating in a very ominous manner at the hand of the left.
