CONQUERING BY DIVISION |
|
When Jesus walked on the earth preaching his message of salvation, he said Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. (Matthew 10:34-36) His words were directed at what the gospel versus the law was going to do. Some would attempt to keep the law while others would follow Jesus and later many would obey the gospel on Pentecost when Peter preached the fist gospel message. People were asked to follow a new way instead of the old way and tension developed over the years between the groups. In the year 2013, a similar division exits in the republic. The people are divided over the way the republic is presently going. One group wants to continue to believe that the government can do it all, while the other wants to return to the path the founders gave us. It is going to be one or the other since neither one can exist in harmony with the other due to creating some kind of devilish mix of rules and regulations competing with each other. When the speech on December 21 was given, the nut job did everything but bring out a saw to make sure the division he is spouting occurred. He twisted the words that all men “are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights" in the Declaration of Independence to push homosexual marriage saying, “if men were in fact created equal, then homosexual “love” must be equal as well.” But his degenerate beliefs became worse, “Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law, for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well,” He told ABC News in May, "I've just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married," All of that from a man who was baptized by Jeremiah Wright (he got wet) if that tells you anything about his words that Jesus Christ changed his life. He is championing the very thing the Bible condemns. Paul said that God has given over to a reprobate mind those who so believe. (Romans 1:28) Not only is he pitting those who practice immorality against those of us who know that such behavior is sinful, he is using the Newtown event to pit the gun-grabbers against the Second Amendment. He took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and yet, is attempting to destroy the document that he is charged with using to keep our society governmentally stable. In short, the man is a liar of the worst kind. Continually, he plays those who think they don’t have enough against those who he thinks have too much. That is cheered by the give me more of someone else’s means crowd because they have been led to believe that those with means have deprived them of their share. That isn’t true, but truth is almost a forgotten element of life in our republic. There is an odd circumstance that exists regarding him and his supporters. Many of his supporters protest when God is introduced by anyone else. But, when he speaks of God and (note he doesn’t say he believes in God or Christ) his supporters never raise one word of protest concerning separation of church and state. It is very apparent that not all things are equal. A large number of people who claim to believe in God or who call themselves “Christians” support the nut job and many voted for him twice. No matter that the message found in the Bible speaks against the things the nut job supports; it matters not to them. Paul wrote Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? (II Corinthians 6:14-15) Has it not occurred to those people that they are linking with an unbeliever and an infidel? Infidel is from the Greek apistos -- pronounced: ap'-is-tos, disbelieving and untrustworthy (Strong’s #G0572). It is the negative of pistos -- pronounced: pis-tos' meaning trustworthy, believing and faithful. Whereas the message of Jesus, even though he knew division would exist, brings man back to God through his reconciliation, the message of the nut job is designed to bring dissention. Only by standing firm against him using the scriptures and the Constitution will he be stopped from conquering by division. © 01-22-2013 DEC |
