Due to the recent exposure of a homosexual in Congress, some the conservatives are reacting with indignation and are threatening to stay home on election day to teach the Republicans a lesson. Some lesson that will be! Not only is the idea stupid, and if they carry out the threat and stay home, the nation will be placed in the hands of Democrats who are bent on proving big government is better even though it will destroy the nation. But on reflection big government is better and very good. Huh you say? Yes, better at destroying the Constitution and good at ending the liberty we enjoy in a free republic. So with that in mind, this author thought it good to publish the article below, which was originally scheduled to be published closer to the next election in November.

Waa! Waa! I’m going to take my ball and go home if you don’t play the way I want you to play. Does that sound familiar? It should since that is the way spoiled brats behave. Most people grow out of that behavior. Notice you just read most and that means there are more than a few out there who still act that way and they are dangerous though they don’t see it. Who are these dangerous people? The explanation begins in the next paragraph.

The dangerous people are the cry baby conservatives and Republicans who threaten to stay away from the polls in November if George W. Bush doesn’t do what they want. It is the political version of taking the ball and going home and the same as cutting off your nose to spite your face. Not only will you suffer by doing so, every one around you will suffer too. And such an attitude is infantile, juvenile, and indeed dangerous to the nation.

Do the cry babies really want to turn the reins of the nation over to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, the mouth John Murtha, Charlie Rangel, Barney Frank, John Conyers, Maxine Waters, and the other liberals in the House? Do they really want Harry Reid to be elevated to Senate Majority leader to direct the cabal of Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Patrick Leahy, Ted “the Bridge” Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, John Kerry, and the rest of the tax and spend, bring on socialism crowd. Do the cry babies really want that crowd directing the nation?

Liberal Democrats lead by Howard Dean are touting a new direction for the nation.  Think again about the new direction. It is nothing more than the same old tax and spend of days gone by. In regard to tax and spend, the cabal isn’t complaining very much about the spending levels but do protest the bigger deficits. The Bush administration has been spending on unprecedented levels for Republicans. Much of it is due to the Iraq war and the rest is for ill advised social programs. The real complaint is that the tax cuts are benefiting the rich and depriving the needy of needed services.

Don’t you believe it! The real problem with the tax cuts is that the Democrats loose big time when people understand that they can make it on their own without all the not so wonderful government help. As for the deficit, the liberals never say anything about it when they are in power, yet they are the ones responsible for the deficit when the history of government spending is studied. High taxes, big spending, and high deficits are fine when the Democrats are in power.

That the smarmy crowd is short on national defense and long on blather about it is a given. They themselves are on record for saying that they too must show they are strong on defense rather than talking about it. They also speak of promoting faith but what faith are they going to promote? Is it faith in God or faith in the ability of government (liberal politicians) to solve all the problems the nation faces?

Liberal Democrats claim they are compassionate and like to help the little people.  Right. Just like a hungry jackal won’t eat anyone. They are compassionate with the money of the rich and the little people are those who they have made dependent on the government (liberal politicians) with all the redistributed income of others in the name of compassion. (George W. Bush needs to sue them. Compassion is his word.)

It isn’t the government’s (politicians) business to deal out compassion except as allowed by the Constitution. Of course, that doesn’t bring many votes and if anyone cares to look, the liberals pander and use the idea of government help to garner votes. Apparently a lot of people either have short memories about the role of government, or they have never learned it in the first place.

The solution for the cry babies and the nation is simple. Stay in the ball game and help shape the future, because if you don’t, the liberals will ride rough shod over all of us. Do you really want that to occur? Stay home on Election Day and it will surely happen. In Sorting It Out, go vote and make the liberals cry Waa! Waa!
