Jihad is the name of the effort to make changes in most everything that doesn’t follow Islam’s requirements for living. Pamela Geller, columnist for World Net Daily is doing a yeoman’s work in pointing out the intent and danger of the Muslim jihad against us. Make no mistake, Islam isn’t just another religion nor are Muslims the victims of their belief. Geller wrote in a recent article in WND that (quote from the article) “Honest moderate Muslims need to stand up against this and work for Islamic reform rather than blame my ads for pointing out the truth.” Pamela Geller is a very intelligent lady, but she needs to explain how Islam can be changed. Islam cannot be changed anymore than the Rock of Gibraltar can be moved. The hearts and minds of the adherents of Islam must be changed and when those are changed, Islam is no more.

While Islamic Jihad is taking place in the Republic of the United States, there are four more jihads that are being overlooked and they are just as deadly to our survival. One is unrestrained abortion; another is the demand for gun control; a third is the assault on economic independence; and the last is the effort to remove God. All of them are the result of the people in our republic, namely brain twisted politicians, who are pushing personal agendas. And regrettably, a large number of ordinary citizens are also in favor of all of them. That gives the politicians the fuel to keep up the assault on the unborn, the Second Amendment, the economy and God.

It is estimated that since 1973 more than 56 million unborn have been killed and when the progeny of those aborted is added to the slaughter, the number approaches 70 plus million. In effect, abortion is a jihad against the unborn and the generations that would be born to those who have been aborted. It is a jihad against the future of the republic.

When the nut job, spoke in Connecticut on Sunday, December 16, 2012, he wrapped his message in Jesus Christ (rather ironic in view of his behavior on many things) and said, "This is our first task: caring for our children. It’s our first job. If we don’t get that right, we don’t get anything right. That is how as a society we will be judged.” He also said, "Can we honestly say that we are doing enough to keep our children, all them, safe from harm? …”  What about the abortion he supports? Aren’t the unborn supposed to be kept free of harm? He is part of the jihad and piously invoked the name of Jesus to support his self aggrandizing prattle.

Next is the jihad against guns. At various points in our history (Attorney General Eric Holder, in 1995 for one), the politicians began to slowly brain wash the public into believing that guns are bad and they are relentless in the assault on the Second Amendment. The media pushes 24 hours per day all the crimes committed with firearms, but are loathe to report on events where a firearm prevented or stopped a crime in progress. A police chief in Oregon said that teachers should not be armed since they would be the ones making life and death decisions along with teaching the children. Using that idiotic reasoning implies that the decision for life or death is best left to the killer or killers.    

Politicians, police chiefs, and citizens who are against privately owned firearms all need to answer one question. If any of you are confronted by an armed thug in public, in your place of business or in your home, what will you do, serve him tea and crumpets, or sing Kumbaya or something else worthless? Let’s be direct, all of those who would disarm the public are idiots of the worst kind. The jihad they are pushing makes everyone into a potential victim with no mercy shown by the predators.

Third on the list is the economic jihad against independence. Like a thief in the night, the government began to steal independence from the people buy instituting programs that would relieve certain groups of people from the responsibility of providing for their own economic security. As with all the big government types, they believe that the programs should not be eliminated or cut. Paul Krugman wrote in his column for the December17, 2012 issue of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, wherein he made reference to the GOP and cuts to programs: The programs they want to kill are very popular. Americans may nod their heads when you attack big government in the abstract, but they strongly support Social Security, Medicare and even Medicaid.

Unfortunately, millions of people depend on the programs because they were led to believe that the government could do for them what they should have been doing for themselves, and of course, they are very popular. Anytime that individuals or groups of individuals can be made to believe that someone else should divvy up their income to support them, it will be very popular. Krugman is an economic illiterate who spouts a dogma that is sinking European countries and is well on the way to sinking us economically and he thinks the government should do more instead of less. He is participating in the furtherance of economic jihad whether he will admit it or not.

Last on the list, but not least, is the jihad against God. Everywhere we turn, God is being shoved out of the fabric of the republic because of the belief that government can solve the problems; government is the god of choice. From the federal government to local governments, those entities are doing everything possible to destroy God, those who believe in him and Jesus. Local governments pass illegal zoning laws against churches locating in certain areas. They threaten and take action against people who are helping the needy in the name of God because those helping with food and other needs aren’t obeying the zoning laws or don’t have the proper permits. Any mention of God or Jesus in a public meeting meets with derision or complete censorship. They distort the First Amendment and trot out the worn out separation of church and state dogma. School officials are forbidding students from any activity that speaks of God. Teachers who display a Bible on their desks are threatened with loss of their jobs.

Politicians at every level propose solutions, but they fail to recognize that they are the problem promoting the jihad against God. They ask why carnage is taking place everywhere, but never suggest that the path for the solution is God if the people would only begin to follow him and his principles for a proper life. (Please re-read the preceding paragraph for the answers to why there are problems in society.)

All types of reasons and yes, excuses are being made to find answers for the atrocity committed in Connecticut. Everything from mental defect to drugs is being suggested.  Do you want the answer? The young man did not have Jesus Christ and God in his life. Have you heard anyone mention God in regard to his life? The answer is no. He had everything but God. When that is the void, evil will prevail with unwanted conduct taking place each and every time, from murder to other sinful behavior. Simply, it is the lack of morals and respect for life (does abortion ring a bell?) that are the roots of the problems. Respect for life is the theme of the scriptures and when that respect is lost, evil takes control.

When the people of the republic bring God back into their lives, evil will flee from the scene. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7: It is suggested that you read the whole chapter.)  In the end, the question is simple. Do you want the deadly jihads to continue or do you want God? It is up to you because God will not intervene where he is not wanted or invited.
