In the previous article, it was written
that John McCain has had bouts with affliction that has rubbed
off of real Dementiacrats. He had the notion to pick Tom Ridge,
a pro-choice supporter, for VP. That would have been a sure fire
way to ensure that conservatives would have abandoned him in
droves. That is the type of madness that would ensure the
election of the messiah.

|
It is amazing the breadth of the
affliction. It seems to know no bounds and now the affliction
has raised its head in the form of wind energy. T. Boone Pickens
has an ad that says that we can build big windmills to produce
ten percent of our energy needs in ten years.
|
|
Just imagine, huge blades whipping through
the air that will be a “Boone” to our energy production. In
reality, it will be a boon to Boone’s wallet. He has set aside
twelve million dollars to help the project. Fact: an increase in
crude oil production can lower the price in less than ten years
with cost borne by the companies doing the work. Fact: nuclear
and coal fired plants can be brought on line in less time for
less money, and they won’t cover the thousands of acres needed
for windmills and solar panels. When it comes to common sense,
Dementiacrats don’t have any.
|
|
Republican and Democrat alike suffer the
affliction. Michael Bloomberg, the Republicrat mayor of New York
wanted to put windmills on bridges, skyscrapers and roof tops.
He envisioned that the installations would provide ten percent
of the city’s needs in ten years. Where do these wacky ideas
originate? Pickens, Bloomberg, Obama the terminator make those
in the institutions look sane. Don’t these nut jobs understand
that they are trifling with the safety, security and economic
health of the nation?
|
|
Research is beginning to reveal that the
wind turbines produce noise that is disturbing to man and beast.
People in Oregon are complaining about the horrendous disruption
to their lives due to the windmill noise. It is given that New
York City is noisy day and night. The big blades would certainly
up the noise level. Did Bloomberg think about the noise? Excuse
me! Politicians don’t have to think beyond their own demented
ideas. It is the remainder to us who have the strange notion
that people ought to think beyond their own self interests. But
the Bloombergs of the world hate thinkers since they tend to
throw monkey wrenches in the grand dreams and great plans.
|
|
So we’ll throw some wrenches at the grand
plans. Did Pickens have a tornado plan? Does he have a plan to
deal with no wind? Did Bloomberg consider vibration on the
bridges and roof tops, not to mention the noise? What about the
cables needed to carry the electricity?
|
|
Later, Bloomberg threw the blade idea into
reverse. Could it be that his hot air didn’t have enough wind to
spin a propeller on stick? Hopefully, the bearings on Pickens’s
idea will burn out too.
|
|
Wouldn’t it make more sense to build
additional power plants that will supply 100% of the power as
they have been doing for years? Such projects will create jobs
for the construction, operation maintenance of the plants. Now
we can’t have any of that, can we? Absolutely not, considering
its just the same old stuff that has been done for years that’s
entirely too sensible.
|
|
Dementiacrats never give up. Big
ideas and big government are the solutions to everything. In the
previous article, it was written that the dementia crowd
couldn’t grasp low taxes. That’s true in that low taxes don’t
allow them to grasp the taxpayer’s funds in the quantities they
desire. Be assured that the windmills, solar panels and ethanol
will allow more grasping of tax funds and will cost this nation
in more ways than can be imagined at present.
|
|
In Sorting It Out, Dementiacrats need to
be regarded for fools, of
which they constantly remind us without ceasing.
