DIRE IS THE WORD |
|
There is no doubt that the term dire straits describes the situation the people of the Republic of the United States face the last two days of 2012 and beyond in 2013. Every one of our cherished ways of life and values and their foundations are under assault. From belief in God to the Constitution, unbelievers of all types and ungodly people in leadership positions continue their attempts to control every facet of our existence. Arne Duncan, Education Secretary said, Americans value their children, their safety, and the right to pursue their dreams without fear -- and those "common values" trump the rights set forth in the U.S. Constitution. He went on to say, "I want to talk to gun owners and hunters and sport shooters and ask them, what should we do? I want to talk about community and responsibility, and I want to talk about values -- because we have common values that go far beyond the constitutional right to bear arms.” Those are two of the most idiotic statements ever made. The nit wit refuses to understand that the unalienable rights in the Constitution are what help us protect the value our children while enabling them to pursue their dreams. Which of the rights and requirements of the Constitution would Mr. Duncan eliminate? Number one on the list would no doubt be the Second Amendment. Number two would be the First Amendment. After all, why should the poobahs of the age of tyranny trust the simple people to have firearms and be knowledgeable enough to speak properly? To better control the populace, government indoctrination is a must for control, so the rights in the Constitution are well, just passé. Diane Feinstein is introducing more gun control legislation which will do nothing but harass gun owners and prospective gun purchasers. The legislation is being pushed by the California liberal dolt, who was photographed several years ago holding a rifle with her finger on the trigger. Yes, she certainly is an expert on safely handling a firearm. When in doubt always ask the political experts. Even though the legislation calls for existing firearms owners to be grandfathered in, the legislation will require the grandfathered owners to register their arms and submit to a background check. Also they will be fingerprinted, photographed and included in a national data base. Here are the provisions: Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include: Background check of owner and any transferee; Type and serial number of the firearm; Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint; Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration. Madame Feinstein needs instruction in the Constitution. Article I, Section 9 addresses her ignorance: No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed. Ex post facto Mrs. Feinstein means that your law’s provisions violate the Constitution since what you are trying to impose on owners of firearms comes after the fact. Since present owners will be grandfathered, you cannot impose additional requirements on ownership that occurred prior to your stupid proposed law: not that your law isn’t unconstitutional on its face. What is it in the Constitution that the tiny minded liberal doofus types such as Feinstein and Duncan do not understand? Apparently it is everything considering that they believe that the Constitution is a piece of paper filled with worthless writing. Ding bats, both male and female, like Feinstein will continue their assault on the Constitution and our liberties until we stop them. They believe that we have no voice and that we will not refuse to follow their dictates. That means the situation on many fronts where the government is attempting dictatorial control is dire. But, if the sentiment of the people can be discerned from the entries on forums and blog, the indication is that liberals are becoming an endangered species. © 12-28-2012 DEC Published on December 29, 2012 |
