Doing
Good |
|
When you’re driving down the road or walking along the street, Do you smile and wave at folks and talk with those you meet? Or do you ignore those who are in need, not offering any kindness? And just go on your merry way, blind, and totally mindless. Do you speed and hurry up just to wait for a light that turned red, Instead slow down, look at the other car, just smile and nod your head. The window tint that’s on the car may be black as coal, You might not see but that very day you may touch someone’s soul. When you shop in the grocery store do you run to the shortest line? Or will you stand there patiently and wait to give someone your time? Do you get impatient in a restaurant for the check when you get done? Or do you look up and say thanks to God for more time with your loved ones? When you do something that’s real nice and no one says thanks to you, Does it diminish the good you’ve done through Christ who died for you? When you get cut off in the traffic lane, do you
rage and scream and swear? When you go to the matinee do you get angry when
you stand in line? I have more questions than I have time to ask, but the most important one, Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son? Copyright 2004 JEC |
