Until the past few years the people of the United States were guided by
the knowledge of God, the knowledge that there is sin, and believed in
good conduct known as righteousness. Those who practiced sin as a way of
life were shunned and not respected as were those who behaved morally.
In the last years the national psyche has changed and those who practice
sin are exalted.

At one time the gospel could be freely preached with no thought that
government would stifle whatever message from the Bible that a messenger
chose for a daily lesson, and which would apply to the saved and sinner
alike. Not any more is that true in this nation, which has freedom of
religion and exercise of same, and freedom of speech, which by necessity
included the freedom to preach the gospel using whatever passages were
chosen.

The California Legislature and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger have made
a bill into law that prevents people in education and in business from
objecting to homosexuality, bisexuality and trans-sexuality (sic) if one
single solitary individual receives any type of government aid from the
state. Tyranny has taken a giant step and this time its intent is to
crush God, morals, and promote sin. The Legislature and Schwarzenegger
have become Evil Incarnate.

Catherine Harris of Florida said that only Christians should be elected
to public office because not to do so will cause the legislation of sin.
She received condemnation for the remark being accused of all kinds of
things. She was quite right when the works of the founders are studied,
for they held similar beliefs. And with the conduct of the California
Legislature and Schwarzenegger in mind, pray tell everyone where she is
wrong in her belief. If Schwarzenegger claims he is a Christian, then his
fruits aren’t testifying to it. (No pun intended.) Anyone who believes
in God and his way wouldn’t participate in making such a law. Only those
blind to the way of God can behave in such a manner and push sinful
practices off on the rest of us.

Paul told Timothy the following: [2 Tim 3:16] All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [2 Tim 3:17]
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works. Schwarzenegger needs to explain how his promotion of
deviant behavior is a good work and how it facilitates the freedom and
liberty that the founders worked so diligently to provide us.

The California Legislature and the Governor should study the United
States Constitution, Article VI, clause 3:
The Senators and
Representatives before mentioned, and the
members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and
judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states,
shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution.
What is it in the article that the proponents of sin in California don’t
understand? That oath they took means that they must honor the First
Amendment as well as the others. They also need to be reminded that the
nation wasn’t founded by queers, lesbians, transvestites, or other
deviants. The founders were men of honor with the moral foundation of
God and Jesus Christ; which obviously is lacking in the California
Legislature and the Governor’s office.

In Romans Paul wrote to the people of that time: Rom 2:9
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the
Jew first, and also of the Gentile; The principle applies to
the people of today as surely as it applied then. Evil in the verse
means embracing every form of evil whether moral or physical. That is
surely what Schwarzenegger and his ilk have done and are doing.

It isn’t the time for smooth words. People need to be hit between the
eyes with the truth. In Sorting It Out, it is hoped this article does
exactly that.
