A war of words exists
between those who believe in evolution and those who believe in God. The
evolutionists say that all that we have evolved from some nondescript
matter which propagated lower forms of life and evolved into higher
forms over millions of years. Those who believe in God say that God
created the earth, nature, animals, and man, in six days. Whichever one
is correct means that the other one is wrong. One requires nothing from
man and the other requires obedience to a set of principles higher than
man’s ability to create the guiding principles.

Mankind is the highest
order of living beings in the universe. Mankind alone has the ability to
think, reason, and perform tasks on a level that far exceeds that of the
lesser forms of life. It is true that animals can perform tasks and also
have some form of thinking at some level, but they are still limited in
ability to reason and solve complex problems. If evolution is true then
the ability to think, reason, and solve problems would be a natural
growth with movement up the evolutionary chain. It appears that the
ability to think and reason are two of the reasons that evolutionists
fear open discussion of the issues surrounding their belief and God. If
a reasonable person examines the facts, it is hard to believe that
inanimate objects came to life and turned into mankind. Yet that is what
the evolutionist tries to make everyone believe. Since they can’t
explain it, they don’t dare allow any challenges to their belief with
the idea that God created us as found in the first chapter of Genesis.

|
No matter how fervently
the proponents of evolution believe in the process, they still can’t
explain a difference that exists between man and animals. It is the
knowledge of right and wrong which is the basis for developing a healthy
set of moral values. It is again true that animals can be taught
rudimentary concepts of right and wrong and will act accordingly, but
they can’t reason it out for themselves as do humans.
|
|
The evolutionist is hard
pressed to explain the moral principles and the associated concepts of
right and wrong. If mankind evolved into higher beings that developed
abilities to do more complicated tasks due to higher order thinking and
reasoning, along with skill development, then it stands to reason that
behaviors that aren’t commensurate with higher level development
shouldn’t have appeared. But they did. As man evolved up the
evolutionary ladder, the behaviors that man possesses to maim, kill,
pillage, and destroy multiplied.
|
|
The answer for the
backward evolution of man’s behavior is found in the book that
evolutionists want everyone to ignore. The Bible reveals that,
“For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23. Sin
(deliberate misbehavior known as disobedience to God) is the explanation
for the condition of mankind that the evolutionist can’t explain. If
they admit sin then they have to admit that evolution is a failure and
that it can’t answer the questions of our existence and consequent
behavior. Therefore, evolution has no solution for improving behavior
and neither does it give any reason for changing it for the better.

There are two verses in
the Bible that fit those who believe in evolution instead of God. First,
the Psalmist wrote, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that
doeth good.” Psalms 14:1, and second, “Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one
that he is a fool. Ecclesiastes 10:3

No more needs to be said
about evolution and those who believe it.
