FAST TIMES

I'm amazed that I'm living in such fast times. I've noticed people talk fast, walk fast, eat fast, and we hurry during our lunch break to include a stop to pay bills, shop, and grab a bite to eat. We go to a drive-up window and expect a hot sandwich to be handed out the window within a minute's time. Many people buy frozen microwave dinners that can be zapped quickly at mealtime. We make reservations ahead of time so there will be no wait when we arrive at the restaurant. We are in a hurry, driving our cars over the speed limit to get someplace so we'll have more time once we arrive at our destination. I'm ready for the pace to slow down. Talk slower so others can understand you, walk slower so you won't bump into others, eat slower so your food will digest properly, and drive slower to save a life ...... maybe yours.
