FLOWERS AND
THE DEER
Have you
experienced the work you
Put in your flower garden
only to see,
A deer has eaten your
lilies and by
The time you see them, they
begin to flee!
I have tried food
deterrent, all kinds of
Things to keep deer away
from them,
But it didn't seem to stop
the munching
On my
favorite blooms... Please God, ahem!!
I thought all
winter what to do during the
Coming spring and came up
with a snapper,
Why I put in some poles and
put up electric
Wire so when their noses
touch, it's a zapper!
Now the deer can only look
at the blooms
And wonder how to get to
them to eat,
Before you know it, they
find out that this
Zapping wire fence forces
a retreat!
With a smile and I know my
flowers smile too -
Because they no longer have
the fear,
Being
involved with the enchantment of
FLOWERS AND THE DEER
