Freedom of speech and the liberty to express your beliefs and opinions
are in danger of disappearing in the age of the nut job (a.k.a. Barack
Hussein Obama) due to his administration doing everything it can do to
make sure that any message counter to his demagoguery cannot be spoken
or written.
The U.S. House of Representatives committee denied a provision to a
bill that would have prevented the Fairness Doctrine from being
restored. But not only that, the Democrats blocked a vote in the House
on the amendment to stop the doctrine. To put it bluntly, the U.S.
House, the representative of the people are representing the nut job,
not the electorate.

The Fairness Doctrine reared its ugly head in 1949 when the
FCC required the holders of broadcast licenses both
to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a
manner that was (in the Commission's view) honest, equitable and
balanced. It required that some air time
be used to present views on controversial public matters and to use air
time for the opposite views of the controversial matters. It didn’t
require equal time, but now plans are being made to morph the
requirement into the broadcasters business and more.

Congress is prevented by the Constitution from impinging
on free speech. Amendment I of the Bill of Rights says,
Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or
abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a
redress of grievances. The
Fairness Doctrine or any such law is an impingement on free speech.
Congress, through the FCC, is going to require radio stations, and the
internet to meet certain governmentally approved speech parameters. The
FCC was originally created to allocate broadcast frequencies so that
those who wanted to broadcast could have reserved channels to do so.
But now it is becoming the police force to punish those who persist in
speaking politically incorrect speech, which is nothing more than
censorship of speech and the foundation for totalitarianism.

|
Major broadcast companies, especially those involved in
televison, are dominating the news and do not present any opposition to
the nut job. Under the proposed regulations or the implementation of
some form of the Fairness Doctrine, the major networks will not be
required to present opposite view points. Why? They are the shills for
the nut job and will continue to paint him in every color but red, all
with his blessing. Are those harsh words? Yes, and anyone who cares
about the truth will investigate the fact that what you just read is
true.
|
|
With the regulation of the radio stations which present
views opposite of the nut job and his lackies, and the eventual
regulation of the internet, we will be well on the way to managed news
and a dictatorship. Every nation in the world since the inception of the
broadcast medium has stifled free speech by taking over the airwaves and
the opposition press. If anyone thinks that can’t happen here or that it
isn’t happening, they aren’t paying attention to the events in Congress
and the White House.

|
People who preach the gospel on the street are being
targeted and arrested for speaking out on homsexuality and other
problems confronting this nation. Religious broadcasting will be shut
down by the ideology being pushed by the ungodly crowd in Washington.
They will not give up until all opposition is silenced and that is
without a doubt what they intend. Perpetuity in office and complete
management of our lives is their goal. In Sorting It Out, the stifling
of free speech is only the beginning of the misery they plan.
