Just a feelin' so very spry,

I just had to do the jig

It wasn't too hard to try.

 

My feet I set on the floor

And straightened my knee,

So I can jig real slow and

Prove I can dance with glee!

 

God have mercy if I go too

Fast with the ankle motion,

Or when I'm finished I will

Have to smooth on the lotion.

 

But for now I think I'm doing

Quite good, so now for music,

And I'll be sure to go slow

To not make it so drastic.

 

Dear Lord get me to dancin'

For it is nice to enjoy knowin'
