Now I live on Godly time, my every step is planned,

By God above through Jesus Christ, I move by His command.

Sometimes it’s just a normal pace, sometimes an outright run,

To accomplish the work God has for me, preparing for His Son.

I never know the work each day that he will assign to me,

I only know I’m available, for whatever it might be.

When I wake up I say to God, thank you for your protection,

I’m awake and here so serve you Lord, give me divine direction.

I begin God’s day my heart in sync with His perfect time,

With each passing second I realize I’m closer to life sublime.

Each days a little different, the time He has me use,  

Sometimes its quiet time in prayer, but that is for him to choose.

Sometimes he has me telling folks about our Lord and Christ,

And how He died on Calvary and how he paid the price.

Sometimes it’s ministering to a saint who is in such great pain,

Reassuring words about God’s grace and the eternal life we’ve gained.

Sometimes it’s a prayer with a hurting teen who lost a real close friend,

And how our savior Jesus Christ brings comfort in the end.

Sometimes it’s just a little smile to light a stranger’s day,

A person that needs a little lift to see Jesus is the way.

Sometimes I don’t even know why or where I’m going,

But there’s one thing I know for sure before me God is going.

He’s preparing a place through His only Son in heaven so divine,

He’s using me, Oh Praise the Lord, ‘cause I’m living on Godly time.
