HANK JOHNSON TIPPED OVER

Hank Johnson is a man with an amazing lack of mentality. He is the Democrat Representative who said he was afraid that Guam would tip over if the additional Marines to be based there rushed to one side of the island all at once. Believe it. This stuff cannot be made up. Only dimwits in Congress are capable of such statements.

Now the brilliant mental midget wants to limit free speech for corporations. Many want to do that since they think corporations speak with no human help. Corporations are created by people who speak and run the corporations. They do have a right to speak individually or collectively as the group. The United States Supreme Court ruled properly that those who operate corporations have a right to speak corporately. The First Amendment does not forbid it, Mr. Midget Mentality.

Whenever anyone speaks in opposition to the left, they immediately want to limit the speech of the opposition. But it isn’t new by any means. Stephen was stoned to death for preaching the gospel, Acts 7:58-59. The Jews did not like it, so they destroyed the messenger. Paul was stoned and left for dead, Acts 14:19. Those were the efforts made in the extreme to silence messages the Jews did not want to hear. In Acts 24:5, the Jews said of Paul, For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: Trying to silence the opposition is nothing new. Look what they did to Jesus.

Mr. Johnson should read the history of the republic’s founding. King George III tried to silence the colonies and eventually that and other events led to the Revolutionary War. That gave rise to the First Amendment which is supposed to guard the right to speak, but it will only do so if those elected to public office follow the Constitution, which appears to be a quite a challenge for Mr. Johnson.

Leftists cannot function if their propaganda cannot be freely dispensed, and the First Amendment is the stumbling block for their propaganda efforts. Integral with the freedom to speak is the freedom of religion, with the prohibition to Congress that they cannot prohibit the free exercise of religion. In that free exercise is the freedom to speak of religious matters. If Hank Johnson and his mental midget cronies were ever successful in limiting the speech of those who operate corporations, they would be prohibited from speaking on religious subjects that might be involved in politics and elections.

Lyndon Johnson was able to persuade Congress to pass the law that is supposed to limit political speech by churches. The IRS promises that dastardly deeds will be done to anyone or a church if free speech is exercised in violation of the do not speak ill of  the politicians law. It is unconstitutional, but when did that stop the tyrannical efforts of the leftist Democrats?

Corporations and other businesses are told to violate their consciences or face big penalties if they do not follow the mandates of the medical care law. Their beliefs and the practices thereof in the business world are as much a part of the freedom to practice their religion as is the right to speak. Denying them the right to follow their religious dictates according to conscience is a denial of free speech just as surely as if they were muzzled, which is what Mr. Johnson desires to do. A denial of the right to practice beliefs and speak corporately is a violation of the First Amendment no matter the subject addressed, Mr. Johnson.

Whatever happened to Hank Johnson’s mind is open for debate. His cognitive abilities appear to have suffered from being tipped over. However, he need not worry; it wasn’t Guam flinging him on his head.
