The article isn’t about credit cards as such. It is about the politicians
who engage in the unlimited tapping of the taxpayers whom they regard as
credit cards. They don’t have to pay back what they take, but we
taxpayers do in many forms. The letters to the Voices column contain
diatribes from the big government lovers who cry for government to take
more and more of the earnings of the “rich.” It never ceases with them
since they believe that ownership of property, in this case money,
should be regulated. That brings us to Barack Hussein Obama, who is a
big government man and who is touted by the letter writers as the man
who will fix all of our ills. How you ask? By more government and higher
taxes is how. He is for credit card (the taxpayers) financed salvation.

He claims that he is a follower of Jesus, but the things he spouts
indicate he is anything but a disciple of the Lord. He is for abortion,
which can’t be supported in scripture. He wants government (taxpayers)
to pay for abortions. He believes that government can solve all the
problems, with no doubt left that his philosophies are another gospel
foreign to the Word of God. Paul said in Galatians 1:6-8, I marvel
that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of
Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some
that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Obama is preaching another gospel and even those who call themselves
Christian are being beguiled by his smooth sounding words.

The man wants to cut defense spending so the money can be used on social
programs. He wants to tax the “rich” even more to cover the cost of
Social Security. He wants to provide nation health insurance to
everyone, including illegal aliens. He says he will do away with the
Bush tax cuts and the low rates on stock dividends, which only reward
the wealthy. He believes that the wealthy are the possessors of the big
credit cards just waiting to have their credit line raised and tapped.
It is appalling that a vast number of people are falling for his line of
malarkey. For some reason they believe that they will share in the
bounty they are will receive from their new messiah.

Messiah? Obama is being proclaimed as a messiah who will lead us to the
Promised Land here on earth with peace and prosperity. Jesus told the
people of that day there would be false Christs and false prophets who
would deceive. (Matthew 10:11-24) it is no different today with the
false promises of Obama who is deceiving the elect of today as Jesus
said would happen in that day. The principle remains that charlatans
will attempt to replace the Lord and play God. His Promised Land will be
one of misery if he succeeds in half of what he says he wants to do.

The foregoing brings us back to the credit card principle. Paul wrote in
I Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil:
which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and
pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Obama and the
letter writers love the “credit card” money (taxes) of others and both
want to take it for the salvation of society. Is that the way of Christ
and is that what he taught? Are those Christians who are for Obama
unable to see the greed and ungodly ideas involved in his spouting?

Not only is Obama an anathema (If any man love not the Lord Jesus
Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. I Corinthians16:22),
those who believe as he does and support him are in the same boat with
him. The letter writers are adamant that he will save us from our ills
with credit cards of the “rich.” Thinking people won’t fall for it, and
Christians, you must decide this day whom you will follow, Christ or
Obama. As Joshua said in 24:15 when speaking of the other gods in the
world, choose you this day whom ye will serve; but
as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. His schemes and
the taxpayer’s furnishing the credit card spending won’t save anyone.
