I walked into church with this thought in mind

Finding your words so loving and kind.

 

You took  my hand and gently touched my heart,

I felt your spirit within from the very start.

 

I heard you say in a whisper of love,

"God is my name from heaven above."

 

The comfort and caring you have given to me,

Sending Dear Jesus to set me free.

 

The warmth I felt within my heart,

I knew, this is where you gave me my start,

 

With this love I am no longer alone nor blue,
