I WISHED YOU A MERRY
CHRISTMAS WHILE IT WAS HERE!
My oh my, how time
passes by,
Why I could hardly think what to buy!
So I hurried right down to the mall,
To a gift shop for one and all.
The crowd was big, looking at things,
Then I spotted a doll with Angel wings.
She was beautiful and highest on the wall,
I knew I had to buy her, the fairest of all.
I paid for her with the last change I had,
I finished my shopping which wasn't bad.
Pretty soon it will be time to meet you,
Were you naughty or nice? - Keep it true!
God doesn't ask these things, for he can see,
Who will get the present under the tree.
Better be nice with prayer on your mind,
For Santa to be happy and treat you kind.
Think about the naughty or nice quick,
To get the gift is a little Christmas trick!
I put in each box a naughty or nice for you,
Now you can think, so Santa knows it's true.
God added nice to his list for you and me,
He loves us all no matter what the word would
be.
Christmas is delightful with boughs of green,
This time of the year can be cheerful and
keen.
Filling your stockings with love and good
cheer,
