A pernicious scourge has been unleashed across our land in the
form of vile sexual images aimed at the young people of the nation and
the growth of the scourge continues to escalate in all areas of our
social fabric. One would think that the vileness is being propagated for
the most part in the back alley porno parlors, sex shops, and on the
internet. If you think that, then you are out of touch. Some of worst
material is being promoted by public schools and stocked in their
libraries under the guise of education.

|
In Fayetteville, Arkansas, the school board is allowing material that
would make a sailor blush to be made available to students since the
adults claim that knowledge is what schools are about. The librarians
have taken umbrage that anyone would challenge their decisions on what
is and isn’t appropriate for children to view. Many parents have thrown
a fit, not that they want the books removed, but that it is censorship
to remove them.

|
Several issues are involved in the further descent into debauching
society. First, there isn’t any argument that schools are about
knowledge, but in this instance, the kind of knowledge must be viewed,
not only as suspect, but intolerable as well. Kids can learn all kinds
of inappropriate stuff on their own without schools making it available
to them. The next issue deals with the mind set of adult librarians who
think it is okay to offer the filth to students. Have they allowed
professional dictates to override morals and the responsibility that
goes with guiding the young? And the last issue concerns the parents
who don’t seem to care that their children read the garbage. What does
that say about the mentality of and the morals of the parents? Does the
question really require a written or spoken answer that should be
obvious to all?

|
It is natural for children to be curious about all kinds of activities,
including sex. It is also the responsibility of adults to guide the
young into discovering wholesome knowledge about the proper role of sex
in the human experience. Tragically, as God has been shoved further to
the side in all areas of life, debauchery has taken up residence in
God’s place and that residence is found in the minds of the people who
should be guiding the young into proper paths of morality, the educators
and the parents of the nation.
|
|
It is ironic that the government is trying to stop all types of child
predators, both in person and on the internet, and then allows the
schools to promote all forms of sexual information under the name of
rights and education. The vile literature runs the gamut from the
promotion of homosexuality to other sex acts that should be confined to
marriage and practiced in the privacy of the married couple’s home (and
that doesn’t include homosexual marriages either).
|
|
Morally oriented parents are deemed bigots, Jesus freaks, intolerant,
insensitive and worse by the enlightened of the day. If the truth be
known, those who are promoting the literature and activities are using
the young for the promotion of their own perverse, hedonistic, depraved
pleasure, calling it education. It is education for sure, but the wrong
kind.

|
When children are told to grow up and be mature, we have the specter of
adults who have a problem with that very facet of life. In Sorting It
Out it can be said that those who are promoting the perverse things of
life are nothing short of being immature themselves; ones who have never
outgrown the natural curiosity of youth and has allowed perversion to
take over their lives instead of becoming mature adults, guiding in
proper ways the children whom are under their charge and care in the
homes and public schools.
