INSOLENT, DISRESPECTFUL SQUIRRELS

My message to the tenants -
To bring out some complaints,
Some people are whispering:
"We are not innocent Saints."

It is true my friendly group
We climb trees,  sit and chat,
Even chew holes  in wood
To irritate the funny cat.

We are audacious when it
Comes to making  a plan,
It is frolicking, sliding, chewing -
And catch me if you can!

We gather nuts, play in the snow -
Dig our holes; we are so kind,
We live here because we love it
And thought you wouldn't mind.

Our group is always watched
With grins upon your faces,
Always looking for our
Footprints in unknown places.

We don't want to admit
We like to spin and whirl,
So we named our Club:

Insolent, Disrespectful Squirrels!
