Slowly, over the years and with stealth, the invasion began and grew in
number much like the termites that silently move in and take up
residence in a house. Everyone knew it was happening and knew they were
growing in number, but since they were few and mostly invisible, no one,
from ordinary citizens to politicians, gave them much notice. As long as
they didn’t create noticeable problems, just like termites doing their
damage in a hidden manner to a house, the invaders chewed away on the
structure and fabric of the nation.

Granted, there were efforts made over the years to stem the tide of the
growing numbers to the hordes coming across the border. But those
efforts were small and in the main, hampered by sympathetic, ill
informed citizens, (useful idiots is another term for them) and advocacy
groups who have little regard for the laws of the nation. That which
began as an invasion in every illegal manner possible has become an
infestation of people who are now demanding all kinds of rights,
including the right to vote simply because they are here, disregarding
the fact that they aren’t supposed to be here in the first place. No
matter that they are straining state budgets, city services, and
hospitals, all required by federal law to provide them with the same
government amenities as legal citizens. Who is to blame for this part of
the debacle? In one word, Congress. Linguine spine dolts looking for
votes.

|
Demonstrations by hundreds of thousands of illegals are occurring in
major cities. They are waving Mexican flags and demanding that the white
people leave and turn the nation over to them. In effect, they are
biting the hand that is petting them and feeding them. In the process,
they are killing the goose that is laying their golden egg. And sadly,
the useful idiots, which include many members of Congress, are aiding
and abetting the human wrecking ball assaulting our nation. Why do they
demonstrate? Because that is their culture. As Rush Limbaugh pointed
out, when they don’t like something, they take to the streets with a
show of force which disregards the laws and the rights of all and others
who have turned a blind eye to the menace.
|
|
Many illegals whine about the possibility of being sent back home. One
individual said all he wanted was to better himself and to be a part of
this country. Fine. It begins with obeying the laws of the land, all of
which begins with being legally in the country. Another said that we are
a nation of immigrants who built this nation, therefore they belong here
too. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants who followed the laws to enter
and to become legal citizens. The hordes demanding citizenship aren’t
building, they are tearing down the social fabric and underpinning of
the nation, the respect for the rule of law based on an unchanging
document, the Constitution of the United States.
|
|
The President has said that the illegals are performing jobs that some
Americans won’t do. Sadly, that is true. A lot of jobs are back breaking
work, but that is no excuse for not doing them. The problem all too
often is the spate of welfare programs that reward people for not
working. Why work in the vegetable patch when the government will
provide a check each month? When unemployment benefits run out, what
does Congress do? They extend the benefits for a longer period. The very
idea that anyone should look for a job and go to work. That is so
demeaning.

|
Legal immigration is fine and the laws need to be enforced. In Sorting
It Out, a look back over the years shows a disregard for the laws by
both parties and a refusal to enforce them. As a result, the invasion
has become an infestation which those in government are loath to stop.
