MARCHING TO COMMUNISM Part I

The path to communism in this nation had an inauspicious beginning in the early 1900s. Three events which had good intentions took place soon after the turn of the century, but they have been used to bring subversion to our way of life and our republic. (There are others which will be explored as well in this series also.) Slowly the government began to change and now the change is on an accelerated pace to change our economy, our personal life, and our religious practices in such a manner that all will be under the control of government agencies and the courts.

It is necessary at the beginning this series to identify the essence of Communism. Karl Marx said, Religion is the opium of the people" (often misquoted as "opiate of the people" or "opiate of the masses"). In essence, Marx believed that religion was the cause of unhappiness and therefore it must be eradicated to enable the people to be truly happy. The reference to opium is that which relieves pain and suffering and is an artificial means of being at peace. Marx assigned religion to the same pain and suffering mode and thus the comparison of religion to opium. The state then became the religion of the people by force to bring happiness. (More on the subject will follow in the series of articles.) (See URL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opium_of_the_People)

When the beliefs of Marx are compared to the Bible, a definite conflict is apparent. Marx’s despising of religion is quite a contrast with the beliefs of the founders who honored God and Jesus Christ. They well understood the truth of one God, the creator of all we have in this world. I Corinthians 8:6 exemplifies their minds on the matter: But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Naturally, the beliefs of Marx and the founders were at odds and couldn’t be reconciled.

Using religion synonymously with God makes it is understandable that the state couldn’t be deified if God existed. God leads us to a spiritual plain and tells us that we belong to him, and Marx’s doctrine has no room for the spiritual: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 9:14) The simple truth of Marx is that man is the highest that will ever be possible. He wrote:  Man is the world of man—state, society. But he blamed man for creating a useless belief and the denial of true reality. He then wrote: The struggle against religion is, therefore, indirectly the struggle against that world whose spiritual aroma is religion. Read correctly, Marx advocated the elimination of those who fostered the religion of God instead of obedience to the state. The purges, the gulags, and the other atrocities of Stalin are examples of what happen to those who didn’t believe in God or who didn’t worship the state. The same type behavior is in evidence as the conflict between belief in God and Islam plays out in nearly all parts of the world.

Those who don’t believe that Communism is evil need to study the ideology of Marx, particularly the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto. The revelation should make anyone who loves this republic and its freedom and liberty sit up and take notice of the tyrannical direction our government is headed. Ted Kennedy was incredulous a few years ago when the Attorney General John Ashcroft said that citizens need to be armed in order to protect themselves against a tyrannical government (incidentally, which is the purpose of the Second Amendment). Kennedy’s reply was “Our government? Tyrannical?” Yes, Mr. Kennedy, it has become tyrannical and in this series, the proof of it will be presented.

Generally, tyranny is practiced by one ruler who imposes conditions by force on the citizens. In the case of the United States, our Congress [a committee] has been practicing the tyranny of an unjust government by ignoring the limited powers granted by the Constitution. Mr. Kennedy was part of that practice due to the fact that his ideology followed Marxist doctrine, and the penalties that Mr. Kennedy supported in the unconstitutional bills create the tyranny.
