MISCHIEVOUS LIL' MOUSE!

I wake up early morning
Like clockwork in the night,
I peek around the corners
So the cat won't cause me fright.

I settle in a lighted spot
And make me big and tall,
In case I get shoved around
This will cushion any  fall.

Here comes that big hand
That presses on my back,
To start all things clicking;
Keeping emails all on track.

I escaped the mighty hand
With that special grip,
I tumbled off the mouse pad
And gave this hand the slip!

Being in such a position like
Surfing with great risk,
I think it would be more fun
To be put on a computer disk!

I was glad when the hour came
To show that it was five,
Man, I'm so happy to find
That I am still alive!

I will scamper off  for now
And run around the house,
It's okay to call me the:
 MISCHIEVOUS LIL' MOUSE!
