Kool-Aid is being consumed by many people and the lemon ingredient is so sour that there won’t be enough sugar in the world to cure the affliction that Obama-Aid will bring. A letter of 08-15-2008 says that we need to give Obama the steering wheel of the nation. Jesus said Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?  (Luke 6:39) The writer said wrote that Obama taught constitutional law for ten years. Fact: Obama is listed on the University of Chicago web page as "Senior Lecturer in Law." Fact: Obama was a Senior Lecturer and declined the track to be a professor. The writer thinks Obama knows the Constitution. If he does, then the agenda he espouses is starkly opposed to the document.

Obama accused Bush of ignoring the Constitution when commenting on the Alberto Gonzales debacle. He said, "I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution," He wasn’t as pointed out and he doesn’t respect the Constitution.  His real talent is stretching the truth and lying. He trusts that the people, just like the letter writer, know so little about the Constitution he can get by with his false statements.

The letter writer began his letter with politics is only a matter of policy and policy is only an opinion which may use facts to develop an opinion. The writer is so confused he doesn’t know opinion may not be true and that policy based on facts isn’t opinion. If what is said is based on fact, it is truth, not opinion. Using his convoluted and confused reasoning, then it is only an opinion that the Constitution should be followed. That being true, then Obama is free to implement any opinion he might hold concerning the nation’s direction. After all, the Constitution is only the opinion of the founders anyway and the document may or may not be truthful or factual.  

Being President of the Harvard Law Review is fine, but that doesn’t make him qualified to be President. Being the big man in college is a far cry from battling the world forces that will be encountered when he is the occupant of the Oval Office. If Obama’s statements are any indication, he should have remained in college because whatever he learned isn’t going to do the nation a bit of good.  

Obama was called in the letter an extremely skilled driver. He is skilled in wobbling and weaving around the obstacles to the point that people think he is driving in straight line. Of course, strong Kool-Aid will intoxicate the hearer and make them ooh and aah at his grand pronouncements of hot air. The only problem is that he fully intends to do as he is telling us. His hot air will burst the balloons of those who think he will save the nation from the terrible conservatives.

This nation has been able to stay out of the ditch of socialism in spite of the fact we have drifted that way more and more since the days of FDR. However, based on the words of Obama, we are going to head full bore for the left ditch of socialism and possibly something worse. The lines he spouts are pure Communism. He is going to take wages and property. He is going to require national service. He is going to force taxpayers to pay for abortion. He is going to require everyone to accept homosexual marriage. And the foundation of all of this is his saying he is following Christ. The dull of hearing Christians and others are swallowing his garbage.

What is really peculiar, the unbelievers in God and Christ, the same ones who mean-mouth Christians, are going to vote for Obama even though he claims to be a Christian. Have they seen through the charade of the charlatan and know he isn’t what he says he is? If they have, then those who haven’t seen it will be in the ditch along with them. The steering wheel in the hands of Obama will bring us to a head-on collision with reality which unfortunately is what we need as a nation. Hopefully we can survive the crash.
