MUCH IN COMMON

The article below was written over four and a half years ago, but not much has changed except for the fact the homosexual lobby continues to advance even louder its immoral agenda; the push to control free speech on conservative talk shows and control of the internet disguised as net neutrality by the left has gotten louder and more strident. The left accuses their opponents of being intolerant, bigots, and homophobes to shut up the speech they don’t like. Unfortunately, many do stop speaking rather than push back and many others try to reach conciliatory positions with them. But how can anyone reach agreement with those who preach against God’s freedom, liberty and morals? Those who name the name of Christ should consider II Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  There can be no tolerance for that which the left and its adherents speak.

Whether one realizes it or not, Bernie Sanders, the zealous socialist minded representative from Vermont, who lists himself an Independent, and the homosexual crowd have a lot in common. Don’t form the idea that it is being suggested that Sanders belongs to the lace cuffed and twinkle toes crowd, because that isn’t true. What is true are the tactics both employ to promote their agendas. What are those tactics? I’ll explain what they do and you will figure it out before being told.

The free enterprise system of the market place of ideas exists because of the guarantee of free speech. One can say most anything without fear of being slapped and can espouse ideas no matter how loony. The hearer can accept what has been said or what is being said or reject them for whatever reasons the hearer might employ. In the main, all have the freedom to talk and all have the freedom to reject what is heard or read as the case may be.

The freedom to reject causes a lot of problems for certain segments of the population. In the case of Bernie Sanders, he is demand(ing) that local radio stations and newspapers provide "alternative points of view."

(Source http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPolitics.asp?Page=/Politics/archive/200606/POL20060615b.html) And why is he demanding that the news outlets carry his socialist and liberal garbage?  Because in the market place of free ideas advertisers refuse to sponsor liberal talk shows. Air America, a collection of liberal talkers with no marketable ideas, isn’t doing well even though Sanders says it is since his utopian mind wants it be doing well. (Air America has folded.) In spite of what Sanders and the other liberals say, the nation has tuned out the wacko leftists as far as talk shows are concerned. The clamor has been for equal time to counter conservative shows; but that means that radio stations must pay for the equal time since the liberals can’t sell ads to pay for the radio time as do the conservative shows.

Now to the other issue to complete the scenario of the commonality argument between Sanders and the homosexual agenda. All over the nation the homosexual crowd and supporters are finding their way into churches, schools, and others areas of life. As with any speech their message can and should be rejected by those who don’t like their agenda. They won’t take no for an answer and those who should say no are afraid to do so because of the tactics the homosexuals use. That it is working is plainly in evidence if the news reports are accurate. Each day more and more people are giving in to them and it appears they are gaining strength for their movement.

Have you figured out the tactics that Sanders and the homosexual crowd are using? The words are coercion and force. Following is more of the nonsense from Sanders and it involves coercion: Sanders added that liberals in the audience should tell people in the media "that you're prepared to speak out against those advertisers who are supporting right-wing stations unless other points of view can be heard."  Why is force included? The liberals want to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine, a government initiative that demands that equal time be given to opposing points of view. In other words, any station that sells ads for a conservative show will be compelled to offer free time so the liberals can spout their views for which no one will buy ads to sponsor. By doing so, conservative talk radio will disappear since stations can’t afford to give away air time.

The homosexual crowd uses force and coercion also. They issue threats of lawsuits with support from the ACLU. They picket and march and attack those who speak out against them. They bully and badger weak spine politicians who give in to their ranting and raving. Churches bend to accommodate them. They use such terms as homophobe, insensitive, bigot, intolerant, and other pejorative terms in order to beat down the opposition. When words won’t work use a club, figuratively and sometimes literally.

When ideas and agendas don’t meet the approval of the masses and are rejected, the liberal/socialist crowd and the homosexuals use coercion and force of various kinds to accomplish their goals. In Sorting It Out, the tactics used by Sanders and homosexual crowd to push their agendas are no different than those used by tyrants in a totalitarian nation. May their efforts not succeed.
