The
article is somewhat longer than usual. Due to the nature of
the subject, it was decided to publish all of it at once
instead of breaking it into parts. The statements in the
article made by certain ones show the battle we face when
people will not face and accept the truth. They actually
believe they are smarter than those of us who believe in
God. The battle is not political as such. It is a battle for
right and decency against those who are proud of their
"superiority" and immorality which they proudly display.
When writing for my web suites, I make every effort to stay out
of the discussions, but once in a while that becomes impossible
due to some of the people with whom I come in contact in various
ways. Using some of the words of Luke when he wrote to
Theophilus, it seems good to write some of the experiences I
have had dealing with unbelievers. They just aren’t unbelievers,
but God haters who adhere to and promote evil; and they would
like to censor those who oppose them, if they could, because
they consider their ungodly beliefs far superior (maybe even
themselves) to the godly beliefs held by others. They do not
like being challenged for one simple reason. They cannot defend
their beliefs so they use bluster and refuse to answer any
questions they do not like. The arrogance they have is mind
boggling.
Their words will be used but the writers will not be identified.
Suffice it to say that their God hating comments are in the
online edition of a Midwestern local newspaper. Though the
article is not aimed at politics, some reference to political
parties will be in the article due to the nature of the
comments.
It is safe to say that those who comment do not know the Bible,
do not believe in God or Christ, and consequently, that which
they write is in opposition to all things holy. Anyone who uses
the Bible or opposes them in any manner is immediately
castigated with pejorative words, which not only show their
vileness toward the writer, (this writer and others) they speak
in the same vile manner about God as you will read in this
article. The fact must be faced that these people live amongst
us, spreading their hatred and wicked beliefs toward God and the
Constitution to any who will listen to or read their leftist,
Marxist ungodly ranting. They may be your neighbors, family
members, friends, fellow workers and acquaintances, but they are
some of the people who helped re-elect the nut job and they brag
about their intelligence for doing so. The present day situation
is not much different than what Jesus, the apostles and
believers faced in their time.
The exchange with those who post began with a letter which in
part stated: … that liberalism is bankrupt on every front —
economically, morally, militarily. That a thoroughly corrupt and
deeply ideologically flawed individual like Obama could be
elected for four more years proves that America has completely
lost its moral and intellectual compass. I posted a reply:
[G]great letter! It is obvious from the comments that the
left will always believe in Santa Claus. They can’t out grow the
idea that government should give them stuff all paid for by
those who earn their way. A link to an Article on WND was
included in the post.
http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/ten-commandments-judge-issues-wake-up-call/
I chose to dwell on the moral part knowing that the God
haters who post on the forum would immediately take umbrage.
They did, and one individual wrote in reference to WND and the
article, Thanks, that site is a real hoot!
Only owls hoot, and that poster is anything but wise and is a
very useful idiot. However, that was mild and just the beginning
of their ungodly ranting.
To set the scene for what follows, Paul’s message to the
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in
high places. Paul was referring to the beliefs and
practices of the ungodly that followed different gods and
engaged in despicable behavior.
Selected comments of the posters follow and they give insight
to the reason for the wickedness being practiced in our
governmental high places. The posts will begin with those who
cannot grasp the connection of God to life: (1) How would
this be relevant to a discussion of ideas pertaining to the real
world? There will be more from this one who apparently
seems to have the belief of being the sharpest tack in the box.
(2) Why do your religious beliefs count for more than our
beliefs? That one is from an admitted atheist who didn’t
like being told about Jesus. (3) The next one is funny because
of, you will see: Many, if not most of us, are high
educated Democrats, or Libertarians, maybe even tree hugging
Green Partiers. I would consider his rantings as mostly
Christian fundamentalist. After all, stripping women of their
rights is their provenance, not ours. High
educated Democrats is not only an oxymoron, the word high should
be highly, (so much for high education) And rantings
isn’t a proper word, although many use it. It should be ranting,
a noun, which can be a reference to a single rant or many rants.
So much for being high(ly) educated Democrats the poster brags
of so proudly.
One poster wrote, Liberals will celebrate their “progress”
even as they go down in flames due to their liberal values. It
was the same in Sodom and Gomorrah and so many other dying
civilizations. Not only the Bible but the Koran and various
other scriptures say the same thing. No wonder the libs booed
God at the DNC. Next time, there won’t be any hubbub about
leaving God out of the platform. The real hoot poster
wrote, This is a lie, of course. (Should
this have been that? What, one more sharp
tack for the box?) I heard several replays of that part of the
Democrat Convention and they did say no, which may have been
boo, but the attempts to include God were shouted down and then
they cheered when the proposed inclusion was defeated. With the
God haters, truth is a lie and a lie is truth.
Now let’s go back to poster number one above. (1) I will
tell you this, though. I would not worship any god until I had
evidence of this god's existence and of its worthiness of my
worship. Your fundamentalist genocidal lunatic of a god fails on
both grounds, as I'm sure you know. No moral and thoughtful
person would worship such a monster. (2) Explain
why it is a good thing to worship an evil demonic space ape. Now
think of sharpest tack in the box as written above relative to
the poster. More than likely the person is high[ly] educated
Democrat. Do you see the hatred for God erupting from that
person? Recall my words in the second paragraph:
“Anyone who uses the Bible or opposes them in any manner is
immediately castigated with pejorative words, which not only
show their vileness toward the writer, (this writer and others)
they speak in the same vile manner about God as you will read in
this article. Poster number one wrote, What kind of a
defect in character would lead people to tell as many lies as
(name of another poster) and my name? What kind of a failure of
basic human decency gives rise to this kind of mendacity?
So for telling the truth, the other poster and I are mendacious.
The poster would not answer when asked twice what god he or she
worshipped. The refusal to answer, answers the question.
The posters were labeled pagans which set off a fire storm of
protest. They just could not understand how they could be pagans
due to their beliefs. The scriptures refer to the ungodly as
ones who worship other gods and strange gods is used in 10
verses from Genesis 35:2 to Jeremiah 5:19. The modern word is
paganism and since their god is in the White House, his power is
government and his law is his executive orders. They worship
abortion, homosexual conduct, homosexual marriage and other
ungodly behaviors. Those are products of strange gods and that
makes them pagans.
But, since they are extremely offended by the word pagan, let’s
try the word heathen: Heathen, one who
has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures
and material goods:
an irreligious or hedonistic person; Pagan
a person who worships many gods or goddesses or the earth or
nature:
a person whose religion is paganism. Something tells me
they won’t like that definition for themselves either.
Now to apply the words of Deuteronomy 12:30
[T]take heed that you be not ensnared to follow them, after they
have been destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire
about their gods, saying, `How did these nations serve their
gods? -- that I also may do likewise.´
31 You shall not do so to the LORD
your God; for every abominable thing which the LORD hates they
have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and
their daughters in the fire to their gods. (RSV)
The liberal God haters, say, support and do the same
things that God told his people not to do. Abortion can be
likened to sacrifices of children to Molech (Leviticus 18:21);
homosexual conduct (Lev 18:22 and the behavior in Sodom and
Gomorrah.
The last two posters to be cited wrote
concerning a political party: The
Republican [P]party [sic] opposes the
rights of gays to marry a person of their choice. It opposes the
liberty of women to choose what to do with their bodies. It
opposes access to contraception for all women, which would
provide a degree of personal liberty we should embrace. Most of
all, it seems more and more that the Republican [P]party
only embraces liberties that are consistent with fundamentalist
beliefs.
Let’s substitute the word believers for Republican. True
believers do oppose gay marriage; true believers do oppose
abortion; does anyone know any believer that opposes access to
contraception? The opposition is taxpayer funding. Yes,
believers do embrace liberties consistent with fundamentalist
beliefs if those beliefs have a biblical foundation. The poster
and many more similar do not like anyone to oppose their ungodly
beliefs that actually are the result of worshipping all types of
ungodly behavior. They expect no opposition and insist that
godly behavior is not only offensive to them, it is an insult to
their high[ly] educated Democrat minds.
Now to the last poster who wrote, They [Republican] just
need to wrap their anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-minority,
anti-youth, anti-poor, anti-middle class agenda in a prettier
package. With a nice ribbon. Remove the
word they and think believers. The poster wants
everyone to follow the paganism of the ungodly. Does mendacious
fit the poster? Again, lies are truth with liberals. Maybe
high(ly) educated Democrat fits as well.
It should be apparent that, as Paul wrote, spiritual wickedness
is the problem. Their ideology cannot be changed, but perhaps
some of their minds can be changed in due time. But we also must
remember the words of Jesus in Luke 9:5
And whosoever will not receive you,
when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your
feet for a testimony against them. Since I can’t
wipe the dust from my feet, the article will suffice for
testimony against them. They are indicted by their own words.
Since one poster a few weeks ago wanted me banded from posting
because of asking questions they could not answer and using
facts that were lies according to the poster, it is fitting to
end with the words of Paul in Acts 22:23 23 And as they
cried out, and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the
air, 24 The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the
castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that
he might know wherefore they cried so against him. By
all means, kill the messenger when cornered by the truth. The
posters cited here are numbered among the people that exist
across the republic and they are the ones who elected the nut
job in the White House; and the downfall of our republic is on
their hands due to promoting spiritual wickedness. Indeed, the
nature of our battle is confronting the wickedness promoted by
the ungodly.
Make no mistake when assessing the mentality of the left. They
denigrate belief in God and support behavior that God tells us
is sin. Only until believers confront those paragons of unholy
behavior will change come to individual lives and our republic.
They do not like being reminded of God, much less confronted
with the gospel. That simply infuriates them to the excesses of
vituperative rage. When Paul preached the gospel to such people,
they reacted against him. Then, in the face of adversity, Peter
wrote the following message But sanctify the Lord God in
your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man
that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with
meekness and fear: 16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas
they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed
that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. (I
Peter 3:15-16) All believers must be ready to give an answer
for the cause of Christ and his salvation whether the God haters
like it or not

Read the article by Charlie Daniels. It is very good and to the
point.
