How long will it be before the people in elected and appointive offices,
including judges, understand that illegal means illegal and the law is
the law? The United States being a nation of laws, made in conformance
to the U. S. Constitution and the constitutions of the individual
respective states, is now being operated on the basis of feelings and
emotions by those in power. Instead of using the laws as the means of
solving problems, the so called leaders are using a type of “I feel
sorry for the people” or “they are just hard working people wanting to
better themselves.” Yes, they do desire to better themselves and it is
coming at the expense of the citizens of the United States who are
receiving the bill from education to health care to everything else in
between. At the moment they are receiving a free lunch (it isn’t free
but the fools at all levels think it is), but that will turn to rotten
garbage one day when the means being used to pay for their upkeep
disappears.

In 2007, an appeals panel of three judges in Kansas ruled that crossing
the border was an illegal act, but once they were in the U.S., they
weren’t any longer illegal. The next time anyone sneaks into a theater,
a race track, or any other venue requiring admission, just whip out the
idiotic court decision and claim that you are legally entitled to be in
the audience. And just as quickly you will find out you are legally
entitled to be escorted outside and possibly will be entitled to go to
jail as well. But if you’re an illegal, you get to pass go and collect
who knows what from the “stupes” in charge of the nation.

When the sheriff of Otero County, New Mexico, staged a raid and found a
number of illegal aliens, they and their children were deported. The
children were removed from the schools. The deportation caused a flap
because an erroneous interpretation of the 14th Amendment
says that children born in this nation to non-citizens are citizens. As
a result, the feel sorry and emotion comes into play because parents
when deported will be separated from their children.
|
|
Politicians never miss the chance to play the emotion card. A news
article in the El Paso Times reported thusly: Monday's operation has
caught the attention of some elected officials, such as New Mexico State
Sen. Mary Jane Garcia, D-Doña Ana. "My concern is that I don't want
any children to be terrorized or separated from their families," she
said. No one wants that, but when the parents are violating the law need
to understand that they will suffer consequences for their unlawful
behavior. The representative is but one of many nationwide who feel
sorry for the violators and thinks it is terrible that the laws are
being enforced. The lady needs to read Romans Chapter 13:1-7 about her
duties relative to the law.

Adherence to the rule of law has always been one of the stabilizing
forces of the United States. But now the nation’s laws for entry are
being violated by the illegals coming across the border; they are being
violated by the other criminal acts committed by the illegals: and
lastly, those who are charged with enforcing the laws are violating
their oaths of office which is a violation as well. (They are failing to
render to Caesar that which is Caesar’s-oath of office and to God that
which is God’s- adherence to his principles.) Law enforcement agencies
are overwhelmed with violations; the court dockets are jammed with no
relief in sight; and the prisons are full to overflowing with illegal
alien criminals. All of the violations and the associated problems are
contributing to society becoming less and less stable.
|
|
The answer to all the difficulties is simple, providing there is a will
to solve them in an unemotional and rational manner. First of all,
deport all illegals with no questions asked or appeals allowed. Correct
the erroneous interpretation of the 14th amendment to prevent
children born to illegal aliens in this nation from becoming citizens.
That will correct the mantra of “we can’t deport citizens, therefore we
have to allow the parents to stay or cause extreme hardship for the
family.” When a law’s purpose is enforced, problems begin to disappear
and if this one is enforced, the problem will disappear quickly.
|
|
It is easily seen that no respect for the law has caused the situations
we face. In Sorting It Out, two facts need to be understood. One,
effective law enforcement is the place to begin to end the illegal alien
problem, and two, when the laws are enforced there will be no doubt that
the illegal entrants will suffer the consequences of violating our laws.
