Many letters appear each month supporting Barack Hussein Obama. This
answer will cover a few of the main points that are expressed by those
who lack understanding about what he wants for this nation. If they
truly understand what Obama wants to do to them, they will run as fast
as they can in the other direction.

Either the writer of the letter to Voices which appeared on July 26,
2008, is totally devoid of knowledge of the Constitution (as are so
many) or she is having a bad dream that will affect all of us if it
becomes reality. She thinks that Obama will return to the principles of
the Constitution for the betterment of all peoples.

Let’s begin with abortion. The Constitution says that the reason for the
document is to set up a government for the people who lived at the time
and their posterity, which is a reference to the unborn: and which logic
and reason says it has to be all who have been conceived since that was
written, including those who now are alive and those who unfortunately
were aborted. So if Obama is going to return us to the principles of the
Constitution, he must repudiate abortion: the process which he adamantly
states he will support even to the extent of making sure that those who
want to kill their unborn child will have the killing paid for with by
the government, you and I, the taxpayers of the nation.

The writer wrote that it is a apparent that Obama loves his country. If
he did, he wouldn’t be spouting all the schemes to place more limits on
the liberty of the citizens. He wants to have programs to help illegal
aliens assimilate into the nation. He wants us to speak Spanish. Maybe
that will help the illegal aliens to assimilate by eliminating the worry
about being misunderstood when they apply for government benefits or
health care.

|
If the “messiah” is elected, the writer says he will get the government
back in touch with people. The truth is she is right when she wrote that
the present administration is out of touch with people and Obama will be
out of touch as well. The Constitution doesn’t allow the government to
touch the people except as listed in Article I, Section 8. Anything more
will allow the government to strangle the people with laws, rules and
regulations. Does anyone think that he will make the strangulation any
less? Apparently, the Kool-Aid the writer is drinking contains that
belief.
|
|
When politicians pontificate on the issues, they always step outside the
limits of the Constitution. His latest planned intrusion is directed to
the nation’s oil companies. He wants to tax them into oblivion to give a
1,000 dollar check to the needy. He says it is the responsibility of the
wealthy to give to those who need the help. That is biblical but it
isn’t the government’s role to force the giving. Can anyone say Karl
Marx? Can anyone say Communism or Mussolini Fascism? He needs to inform
all who will listen where such a socialistic-communistic idea is
authorized in the Constitution. If his ideas are put into play, it won’t
be long until there won’t be any crude oil energy available, much less
the largess he wants to hand to the needy. The golden egg he thinks is
out there will become rotten quickly. It won’t be the sulfur smell of
crude oil he will be inhaling up his nostrils.

|
Not only does Obama spout a nation killing agenda, which is bad enough,
but also it is even more appalling when the people who write to the
paper hold the same views. It isn’t any wonder that the nation is in
trouble morally, spiritually, and economically when the citizens aid and
abet the politicians in their nation destroying work.
|
|
People such as the writer want change and they hope that Obama’s change
will be what they envision. Their vision is a happy dream that is filled
with hope; but when the truth of the Obama agenda begins to take control
of the nation, the dream will be the worst nightmare ever experienced in
this country. Just ask the people who lived under Marx and Stalin’s
Communism. We don’t need that Kool-Aid nightmare here.
