The founders of this nation gave us a system of government whose principles and precepts are based on God in whom they believed. The men
and women had an unfailing belief in God and an abiding loyalty to
the nation they created with God’s help. It is obvious from a careful
reading of their writings and their speeches that they saw no conflict
in professing loyalty to the nation and God at the same time. Those who
will honestly explore the truth will find that there isn’t anything in
the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution that in any way
conflicts with belief in God. Even those who don’t believe in God can
express loyalty to the nation without bothering their consciences. When
they do, they are tacitly agreeing that a higher force than man guided
the setting up of the government of the nation. No other nation on earth
has ever been formed on the principles of God.

Forces alien to our way of life continue to assail the freedom and
liberty we enjoy in this nation. That is enough to make us a target,
especially from those who don’t believe in God and those who serve
strange gods. Bibles in schools, prayer in public, monuments, and other
expressions of belief are being challenged and declared unconstitutional
because they are offensive to those who don’t believe or who hold other
beliefs in some deity. The truth is that the God of Creation, the God of
the founders and in whom Christians of all ages through years pay
reverence is the only deity that gives mankind freedom from sin, and the
liberty to live according to his teachings, unhampered by unrealistic
self serving rules benefiting no one except those wielding the whip, so
to speak, to keep believers in line.

Attack from the outside is but one of the ways that the nation is under
assault. The other is from within and it is real. A Muslim in Minnesota
has been elected to Congress. A supporter says, "The Muslim community
needs this hope, that there is a place for us in this country.” From
another, "We're excited," he says. "It's only one of 435 [House
seats], but it would be a start. You have to start somewhere." Many
will ask what is wrong with him being in Congress. How can he swear
allegiance to the United States Constitution and its guarantee of
freedom and liberty when his religion denies those precepts in other
places? As for a place in this country, how does this nation not give
them a place? There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents anyone
from having a place in this nation unless they don’t want it or are
against it due to another belief.

The statement of a supporter who said, “You have to start somewhere."
is most chilling when the tenets of Islam are held up to the light
of truth. How can the congressman swear allegiance to this nation and to
his religion at the same time when they are at opposite ends of the
belief pole? What will his vote be if there was a vote to go to war
against an Islamic believing nation? How will he vote on legislation
that would include attacks on those of his belief? And will those in
Congress vote for his legislation for fear of being called intolerant
even when such legislation would be disastrous to our freedom and
liberty? The Apostle Paul spoke years ago about the dangers the church
faced as recorded by Luke as follows [Acts 20:29] For I know this,
that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not
sparing the flock. [Acts 20:30] Also of your own selves shall men arise,
speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. The
same words can be applied to the founders and the nation they left us.
People with perverse ideas are speaking in ungodly ways and changing the
national face of godliness to one of the ugly countenance of Satan. Now
a man, whose fellow believers are making every effort to destroy us, has
been elected to Congress of the very nation that his religious brothers
vow to annihilate. This is tantamount to dressing a fox up as a rooster
and putting him in charge of the chicken house.

|
Say what you will and call me a scaremonger if you wish; the reality of
the internal danger from him, his followers, and the liberals now in
Congress is real and makes our destruction one step closer. When we
ignore the Constitution and the reasons for it, and allow those to be
elected who don’t share our beliefs, we are headed for severe problems.
History is replete with nations that no longer exist because people of
other ideologies took control. The people of this nation must realize
that there are some who don’t need to be elected to any office higher
than a dog catcher. In Sorting It Out, it is imperative that the words
of his follower(s), “You have to start somewhere.” remain in our
minds. They mean it and without firing a shot it will happen if we
aren’t vigilant.
