OPEN CHRISTMAS LETTER TO THE ACLU

This letter was sent to the ACLU to enhance their enjoyment of Christmas.

       December 9, 2005

 Dear ACLU members,

It is with the utmost joy that I take this time from my busy schedule to Wish You a Very Merry Christmas, knowing that your organization is doing all in its power to take Christ out of Christmas and destroy Christianity in this nation under the false premise of separation of church and state.

I could say at this time that since most of you are lawyers who have studied the Constitution, you apparently haven’t learned very much about it the way you distort it at every chance you have to help make this country an ungodly nation; and only in this nation can you do the things you do without government interfering with your nation destroying behavior, but in the Spirit of our risen Lord and the season, I won’t.

Jesus came into the world to save mankind from their sins, both spiritually and physically. He was born, lived, died on a cross, and rose, wherein lies the proof for the hope all Christians hold to and profess. At this time we celebrate the birth, which is but the beginning of the new life in Christ for all who obey.

I can say that not all believe, and could say that neither does the ACLU, but I won’t and will let Jesus say it: Jesus said, [Mat 7:13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [Mat 7:14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. [Mat 7:15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. [Mat 7:16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [Mat 7:17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [Mat 7:18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [Mat 7:19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [Mat 7:20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Surely anyone who cares to examine your actions carefully will conclude that by your fruits will you be known by your position concerning God, Jesus, morals, and decency, but in the spirit of the season I won’t mention it.

This nation was founded on the principles of God since the founders believed in Christ. All of your disclaimers won’t change the facts of history, so in the interest of your well being, my prayer at this time is that you will repent of your nefarious ways and on Christmas morning, as Paul wrote in [2 Cor 9:15] say, Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

With no intention of distressing you, I again wish you a Merry Christmas and may the coming year be one in which you come to know Christ. Then you will begin to enjoy life as you have never known it.

With the Blessings untold when you follow Christ,

Donald E. Clem
