Senator Durbin:

      Your speech on the Senate Floor on June 15th was uncalled for and an affront to our Military and our Country. How could you, as an American citizen and an elected Senator, dare compare our troops and guards of the worst of the worst prisoners of war (including the 20th hijacker of 911) to Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot? Hitler murdered two million Christians and six million Jews. Nearly two million prisoners died in Soviet gulags. And Pol Pot slaughtered as many as ten million in Cambodia. The prisoners at Gitmo (or are they guests?) being inconvenienced and made uncomfortable is more comparable to child's play in comparison. You have given the enemy (terrorists) aide and comfort (an impeachable offense) with this disgusting speech, which they have broadcast for their own cause all over the world, only causing more hatred of our wonderful country. You haven't the character or decency to apologize to those brave troops you've offended. America has now learned just who you really are with your warped thinking.
