OUCH, THE BIG HEAD
BUMP!
So many things in
this world
Sure can come as a
surprise,
And the one I am
mentioning
Doesn't even have
a disguise.
You ever start
your day on a
Very special note
of joy?
Of getting things
done and in
No special hurry
to annoy?
You have something
in your hand
And suddenly you
lose your grip,
You fall forward
to hang onto
Your object before
you make the trip.
Next thing you
find yourself leaning
Forward to not
lose your balance,
And you stumble
along faster while
Trying not to
appear like a dunce.
But gravity pulls
you to the point
Of letting you
know of no return,
You glide along
and grab things
To no avail you
can feel the churn.
Then you get the
thud as you hit
Your head on a
shelf close by,
"Boy, what hit
me?" you say as you
Stammer and let
out a cry!
You hit your head,
but didn't land
On your standby
and ready rump,
You just
experienced the famous -
OUCH, THE BIG HEAD BUMP!
