OUR BALD EAGLE
Here is our
nation's bird -
Chosen June 20, 1782,
An emblem of the
United States
Representing me and
you.
It has great strength
And has mighty
majestic looks,
You see it everywhere
Even in our history
books.
You notice on the
back of coins
With it's outstretched
wings,
Representing our
precious
Freedom of God's given
things.
The eagle shrieked
it's warnings
That helped our
fighting men,
In battle they circled
overhead
For freedom, again and
again.
We are proud this bird
represents
Our United States so
regal,
Supreme power in
authority
is found in:
OUR BALD EAGLE
