PRYOR SHOWS COLOR

There is nothing that will enrage a liberal more than the mention of religion, the thought of religion, or the idea that religion is going to enter the debate fray about the direction the nation should take. There is nothing that will show the true color of a liberal more than the mention of religion, the thought of religion, or the idea that religion will challenge the dubious agenda of the Democrat Party. And now with all that said, the junior (in more ways than one) Senator Mark Pryor, Arkansas, showed his true color when he said Christians should stay in their place and not challenge any thing in the political realm because it gives, Christianity, Christians, Jesus, and the church  a bad name.  Not that he is really interested in protecting religion. No, he is only interested in avoiding a discussion of ethics, morals, and values because when God enters the arena the liberals can’t compete with it and win using their illogical humanistic garbage.

Senator Pryor needs a Bible lesson; in fact he needs several of them to set his mind on another path.  Jesus said, “Let your light so shine,” but he didn’t say not in the political arena. Paul said let all things that are done be done in the name of Jesus Christ but he didn’t say except in the political arena. Senator Pryor needs to understand that the Bible and belief in God covers every activity which man can be involved.

A Christian is one who believes in certain moral principles and lives those principles daily in everything that he or she does. Belief in God isn’t just for some pious ritual conducted in a church house at various times, but is to be lived daily in the world to help affect change in the lives of men and women who are looking for direction.

This nation was founded by people who believed in God and they expressed that belief as they formed the foundation of the nation. The systems that make possible and allow the political activities of Senator Pryor are there for him because those who have gone before knew the foundation that would keep the nation on the right path. Mr. Pryor needs to acquaint himself with some facts and drop the liberal idiocy to which he clings so tightly.

Most certainly the Senator needs to explain why Christians are demeaning themselves and their religion by engaging in politics. Using his logic about demeaning, he then should not be in politics if he is so worried about it not being a wholesome activity. If it is unwholesome for Christians, then why is it proper for him? He needs to explain how Christians participating in politics is dangerous and how it has harmed them and others.

Pryor, like so many of his ilk, gives lip service to religious freedom and freedom of speech until Christians using their rights begin impinging on the liberal agenda. The liberal knows well that his or her morals and values aren’t in line with the majority of the religious belief of the nation. Knowing that, they can’t engage in a debate because they don’t have anything of value to present that will support their ideology. They can only tell us to shut up as did the Senator in so many words. Liberals are fond of telling others what to believe and what to do, but they don’t like it when the tables are turned on them and God and his morals are used to challenge their beliefs. That is the real problem with Pryor and it shows that he doesn’t like being held accountable to anything higher than the Democrat Party’s ideology of socialistic humanism. We know the color of that thinking and it is ugly.

The people of Arkansas need to hold this man accountable for his actions and speech and elect someone else who understands the role of belief in this nation. When they do it will help return this nation to godly ideals and the direction charted by the founders.
