If we live long enough, most of us hope to retire sometime after the age of sixty-two and enjoy the golden years thereafter. Those who have been employed most their life have paid into the federal Social Security plan to then have it repaid to us upon our ripe old age. The Washington Post has revealed a frightening "benefit scandal", and that is that the Social Security Administration is holding high-level talks with the Mexican government officials to pay Social Security benefits to illegal aliens from Mexico directly from our Social Security Trust Fund. Meetings have already begun and are expected to move forward at an accelerated pace, with the support of both governments.

    The State Department plans to build an entirely new building in the U.S. Embassy Complex in Mexico City just to deal with the crush of Mexican citizens expected to apply for benefits there. I am not talking about those who came to America legally from Mexico who have paid into the Social Security while working here. Now why would the politicians buy into this crazy scheme?  Well, of course, it is to attract the Hispanic vote. This dangerous plan can do real damage to the retirement security of tax- paying, hard working, legal American citizens, now and in the future.
