SACRIFICING TO MOLECH |
|
The children of Israel had a strange god to whom they sacrificed their children in the wrong headed belief that they would receive some sort of reward or blessing. Eight different verses in the Old Testament warned the people not to sacrifice to Molech. It was an abomination and a sin. Beginning in 1973, the United States Supreme Court opened the door for sacrifice to a similar god called abortion. Millions of unborn and born babies have been sacrificed to the abortion god because the self (excuses of all kinds are made to justify the heinous act) has to be appeased rather than give a new human a chance at life. The abortion god has taken on a greater grotesque nature which has deadened the minds of those who practice the abomination and support it. Kermit Gosnell is on trial for running an abortion business wherein babies were killed in the most heinous of fashion after being born due to surviving an abortion attempt. His behavior is properly called murder since the baby was alive at the time he butchered the small human being. Only a person devoid of a conscience tuned to God can do what that man is accused of doing. And that can be said for those who try to defend his actions. The media people have admitted that a bias for abortion has prevented reporters from covering the story. Do they not understand that once the baby is born, it is not abortion when the bay is killed? It is murder called infanticide. There are no excuses for such behavior and the death penalty is absolutely warranted, just as God told the children of Israel in Leviticus 20:2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. God had words in verses 4-5 for those who refused to deal with those who defiled his name. Abortion is so entrenched in the minds of a great number of people of the republic that whenever any action is taken to stop or limit abortion a groundswell of protest rises from those who believe that women have a right to kill their unborn. The excuses run the gamut from statements that claim that the beginning of life cannot be known to fill in the blank for whatever excuse you can imagine. The question for when life begins is very illogical if not plainly-yes-stupid. The sperm is alive; the egg is alive; and when they unite a new life is begun and begins to grow. If the entity that forms from the uniting does not grow the entity is dead. So when the entity grows, life is present. Is that so difficult to understand? Several states have passed laws to limit abortion and some states want to limit funds to Planned Parenthood so that it cannot use taxpayer monies to fund the abortion enterprise. According to a well researched editorial in the April 13, 2013 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, abortion is the main activity of Planned Parenthood though the organization claims that it provides health services to women who need it. But their big money maker is abortion and any effort to rein them in meets with a vehement protest. A writer of a letter to the Voices, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette April 13, 2013, blamed religion for the guilt that women feel when they have aborted/killed their child. The writer claimed it is a private issue and the government has no business telling women that they can’t kill their unborn. Using his convoluted reasoning, then any act that deprives an individual of life or property isn’t any of the government’s business, much less society in general. No it isn’t religion that brings on the guilt. It is a conscience that is God given and which speaks to right and wrong. When Cane slew Abel it wasn’t religion that made him know that he did wrong; it was a conscience laid bare to God because he knew it was wrong to kill his brother since conscience came long before what is called religion. He too used an excuse for doing his foul deed to assuage his guilty conscience as did Adam and Eve when God confronted them in the Garden. Their guilty conscience was caused by sin in both cases. When Justice Harry Blackmun and his conscienceless cohorts established Roe V Wade, they set in motion the sacrifice to the modern Molech type god that is now worshipped with an ungodly fervor. Yes, the modern Molech is alive and well as this is being written, but may the death knell for the heinous sacrifice continue to sound throughout the land. How do people, even those professing to be religious with a claim of having a conscience, continue to support the slaughter/sacrifice of babies to the god called abortion? God and evil does not mix. © 04-12-2013 DEC |
