In another letter from the same atheist, he wants so badly to fool people into thinking he is really intelligent, that he attempts to dispute another letter writer who was promoting his logic for intelligent design by saying “the moon had to have been placed by a designer in its current orbit.” The atheist answers that 4 billion years ago, “the earth is believed to have been 90 percent ocean and the moons orbit had to have been closer.” Notice, he said it is believed. He doesn’t realize, he just admitted that its just assumptions. They always make up answers for anything a believer might say.

Without the moon, it would be impossible to live on this planet. If something deflected the moon from its orbit, all life would cease on earth. Without the tides created by the moon, all our harbors and shores would become a stench pool of garbage and it would be impossible to live near them. The tides cause constant waves to break upon the shores of the ocean, aerating the oceans, providing oxygen for fish and plankton, which is the very foundation of the food chain. God made the moon the right size and placed it the right distance from the earth to perform these and numerous other functions. If the moon was 1/5 the distance farther away from earth than it is [presently], the continents would be completely submerged twice a day. Our world didn’t just happen. It was designed, and is guided and protected by God, yet today.

The earth and moon are relatively new. Scientists know the present rate of the recession of the moon. The “presumed “ evolutionary age of earth, 4-5 billion years, requires that the moon should be much farther away from the earth than it is. Clearly, the earth-moon system is not as old as evolutionary scientists have assumed. The vast time span essential for the presumed evolution of life-forms also is a myth and non existent.

Evolutionist can never agree on earth's age. Some say millions; others say billions. Dr. Randy Wysong observes [that] “evolution is not a formulation of the true scientific method. They (scientists) realize [that, in effect] evolution means the initial formation of unknown organisms from unknown chemicals produced in an atmosphere or ocean of unknown composition under unknown conditions, which organisms have then climbed an evolutionary ladder by an unknown process leaving unknown evidence.” In other words, the evolutionary theory has little to do with the findings of science. Its a materialistic philosophy, which is un-testable, so it isn’t even science. For science is concerned solely with experimentally testable evidence. Evolution is still just a hypothesis. Nevertheless, it is continually set forth as established fact by the scientific community.

One of the ways scientists deal with mysteries of the planet, such as the age of the earth, is by appealing to time. They don’t know how the earth came about, but feel that given billions of years almost anything could have happened. The date of creation is a different issue from the fact of creation. Earth is the only planet we know of that can support life. All the many complex living creatures on earth can not have developed from a single cell, as evolutionist think. We don't know the date of Creation. The atheist (from L.R.) falsely claims that life had already evolved because the earliest surviving microfossils of primitive life, have been dated to 3.85 billion years ago. Again, the only way to measure that much time is by assumptions.

Evolutionists think the animals whose fossils remains are found in earth’s rocks, lived millions of years ago, and they work to date the different rocks and fossils. But the record in the rocks is not as clear as they would like us to think. There are no dates stamped on them. But they give dates for these rocks and fossils as though these dates are certain, when they are not.
