SCAPEGOATS UNLIMITED: BIG LIES

How many out in the big cities and the hinterland are tired of the scapegoats that the nut job (a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama) keeps trotting out in his speeches to further his agenda? All things that the fool doesn’t like are the culprits in his schemes to take us down the road to more tyranny and he is getting by with it due to a segment of society who have been brainwashed to hate business, especially big business.

Early in his campaign, he blamed business in general for ripping off the public with high prices and high profits. First, he pointed his finger at the oil industry for what he said were excessively high profits; the people who were paying high gasoline prices believed him. The truth is that oil company profits are in the 5 to 8 percent range with least part of the profit deriving from gasoline.

Then he went after the banks and he is still on that path to capture control of the financial segment of the economy. He wants to tax the banks in order to protect the consumers and save the public money. He is getting by with that because the people think they are being ripped off by the banks.

He set his sights on the medical care industry (wrongly called health care) because they are reaping obscene profits (false) and will not cover existing conditions from the first day of coverage. (Most companies require a waiting period before existing conditions are covered.) All manner of horror stories were dug up about how terrible people were being treated by the devilish insurance companies. Those stories essentially form the foundation for the support for government run insurance.

Alternative energy ideas are pushed to solve the energy problems and green have become the in word for the alternative energy mantras when it is the gullible believers who are green. When will the public wake up to the facts that the green energy cannot supply the energy needs of the republic?  So far, all the ethanol production has done is make food prices rise and create more air pollution than gasoline. (Check on the science if you don’t believe it.) But those who want to drill for oil are the ones that are delaying the quest for implementing green energy according to the liars.

That scapegoats are the problem is believed because the people have been told for so long that businesses of all kinds are evil. They eagerly agree that government can stop the greedy companies by taking control of them. The republic cannot long endure when its citizens refuse to accept that the government is the problem and that the scapegoats are nothing but a ruse to gain power over the economy. Portions of the people refuse to understand that they, the liberal voters, are responsible for the louts, who are becoming dictatorial, the nut job included. They believe in scapegoats and big lies for a mess of potage.
