SILENCE OF THE
WOODS!
"You see me? I'm up here!
A lonesome leaf left on a
tree,
To flutter in the Fall
breeze
Just waiting to be set
free."
I hear the silence of the
forest
The little critters in
a scamper,
As the winds blow, many
things
Will eventually become
damper.
"Look up my
friend; take notice
I'm hanging here by a stem,
The quiet around me can be
kinda
Spooky, cold, and cause
mayhem."
I asked God to make my
descent gentle
As my pastime
is changing in colors,
When the time is right you
know;
I can fall as quick as my
brothers.
Deep in this forest there's
not a peep
I figured it out and have
the goods,
I know how to
really break the
SILENCE OF
THE WOODS!
