The men and women who founded this nation gave us a priceless
inheritance forged from the love of God, sweat, tears, blood, and
sacrifice, all done so that they and the future citizens could enjoy
freedom and liberty as God intended. The founders left us an inheritance
that is only second to the inheritance that God has for all people and
which will be claimed by those who will believe and obey the gospel. The
inheritance of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ and in the words
of Peter we are saved To an inheritance incorruptible, and
undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(I Peter 1:4) Now let’s apply the principle of the inheritance reserved
for us to that which the founders left for us.

A quote from the Declaration of Independence is in order; We hold
these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that
they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that
among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to
secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving
their just powers from the consent of the governed, -- The rights of
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are the inheritance that is
found in our system of government. The Constitution is the document that
sets forth those fundamental elements and the one express way to
guarantee the rights is to limit the government which the Constitution
does without any doubt. Just as God in his plan gives us the promise for
future eternal happiness, the Constitution sets forth in its Articles,
Sections, and Clauses the promise that our lives will be lived without
interference from the government. Essentially, government is necessary
to keep society safe, and to take care of the activities that
individuals and or the states are unable to do for themselves. and
anything else is an intrusion into Rights, Liberty and Happiness.

But there is more to the inheritance. The inheritance includes the
unborn. In the Preamble of the Constitution the word Posterity is found:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect
Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the
common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of
Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this
Constitution for the United States of America. The inheritance is
for the posterity which is the unborn. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines
the word thusly: 1.Descendants; children, children's children, &c.
indefinitely; the race that proceeds from a progenitor. The whole human
race are [is] the posterity of Adam. 2. In a general sense, succeeding
generations; [as] opposed to ancestors. Without question the inheritance
the founders gave to us is for the protection of the unborn as well.

Only by strict adherence to the Constitution can the nation enjoy the
rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Those inalienable
rights are extended to the posterity, but due to a decision (Rose v
Wade) authored by United States Supreme Court Justice, Harry Blackman,
millions of our posterity have been slaughtered due to his refusal to
honor the simple truths of God and the Constitution. In other words, he
and his ilk paved the way for the unborn to lose their inheritance of
life, and liberty, and the future happiness that comes with living and
making the right choices.

Not only have the aborted unborn lost their inheritance, the nation
since 1973 has been deprived of the talents and special qualities of
each aborted child; so in effect, the nation has lost a major portion of
the promised inheritance left for us by the founders. Out of this
pernicious ruling all sorts of evil has been spawned, but the major one
is the loss of respect for human life. When human life isn’t respected
then a nation of people are headed down a slippery slope to extinction.

The future of the nation depends on the securing the inheritance that
the founders gave us. By following the Constitution, our inheritance is
secured and also is reserved for the posterity as well. It is no
different than following the teachings of the Bible to secure the
eternal inheritance
