I play with my Tuxedo cat,

She greets me in the mornings

And sometimes gives me a bat.

 

But that's okay, I know she just

Wants to play and have some fun,

She eats her Nine Lives food and

Then she's on a high speed run.

 

She tried all the chairs in the house

To take her daily kitty naps you see,

She thinks she owns everything

And she will show it in a spree.

 

One day I went to my computer

To check on some daily news,

Much to my surprise it was off

And my Princess swiped at my shoes.

 

This was a hint that something was

Not going right so checked below,

I found that my Princess stepped

On the off button - wouldn't you know!

 

Her face had such an expression

Which I can only write in a book,
