THE BIG THUNDERSTORMS!
It's that time of the season
To listen
to the noise,
The clatter
and rumble and
Rain to
pelt down as it annoys.
The water
come raging out
Of
many crevices and creeks
You don't
know when it will stop
As it races
along in big streaks.
But most of
all we understand
That God
has his way to water,
His very
own created flowers
And plants
you don't seem to bother.
I'll duck
under shelter, but make
Sure it
isn't under a tree,
For the
strike of lightning will
Surely come
down and strike me!
So I pray
to God to please keep us
Safe from
the lightning as it warns,
While I duck
for shelter during
THE BIG THUNDERSTORMS!
