THE RACE BAITING POISON

Charlatans and scammers use race baiting to keep a certain number of supporters in the fold. When they can’t defend their policies or when someone has an opposing view, the word racist flows from their mouths. It is even more ridiculous when a man, Herman Cain, with skin darker than the nut job’s (aka Barack Hussein Obama) is accused of racism because he speaks against the ways and policies of the occupant of the oval office. That shows the mentality of the people who use race to further their goals. Yet many people fall for the lines of the baiters.

Those who issue such statements need to read and reflect on the words of Paul in Acts 17:22-26 when he preached the gospel to the men of Athens, Greece. He said after making reference to their unknown god that he would declare him to them. He began to preach to them God and Jesus Christ, thereby giving identity to their unknown god. They knew that there were many gods and they didn’t want to leave any out of their worship. They knew nothing of God and his Son so Paul gave their unknown god an identity. He said in verse 23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.  The word ignorantly means they didn’t know the identity of the god they called unknown. In verse 26, Paul stated a fact that has yet to be proven false And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; Then he said in 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  All nations (humans of all descriptions are included); here a reference to not only Jews, but non-Jews and foreigners to the commonwealth of Israel as Paul told the Ephesians in 2:12-13 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Note that not only did God make all men (people, humans) from one blood; the blood of Christ brings all men who were and are far off near to God; that is all who will believe it and obey the gospel. That is the lesson the race baiters need to take to heart; especially those who at times claim Christ, such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and even the nut job who slickly interjects race into his messages. Following Jesus Christ not only will stop the following of false gods, but can and will stop race baiting in its tracks.

Racial distinction is as old as human kind. It is found both in the Old Testament and New in various situations and always shows that one person or group thinks they are better than someone else or other group for whatever reason. In several places in the gospels, Jesus was accused of eating with publicans and sinners. A priest and a Levite both looked at an injured man and both passed him by on the other side (Luke 10:30-35). In each case, those who made accusations against Jesus and priest and the Levite thought they were better than those in need of help. Pure racism was used in an attempt to denigrate Jesus while the priest and Levite used their position as a reason not to help the man who was in their eyes, not as good as they.

Race baiting is the ploy of those who attempt to maintain favor with those who aren’t followers, but who hold to the race mentality. It is used to solidify position to maintain the advancement of their agenda. However, not one time can it be found in the scriptures that Jesus or the apostles ever used as advantage their position among men. It was because they had God and the truth on their side of the issues.

Those who practice race baiting are charlatans who, in order to maintain an advantage, are spreading a poison that  infects the weak and corrupts mentalities. In Sorting It Out, the race baiting poison will eventually destroy the republic unless godly men and women begin to counter it with the message of Jesus Christ.
